SCAMMER ALERT!: DANNY JOHNSON OF JD JOHNSON MOVING CO I just…read morewanted to warn everyone about a scammer so that he doesn't steal your money the way he stole my friend's. My friend, who has a medical condition and is on a fixed income, was in need of an air purifier and found one online posted by Joseph D Johnson "Danny Johnson" of JD Johnson Furniture Barn 325 W Statesville Ave Mooresville, NC who also owns JD Johnson Moving Co 335 W Statesville Ave Mooresville, NC. It's described as being in "good condition" and when my friend asked him if it worked well and had a clean filter, he confirmed. To help her out on February 8, my husband delivered payment and picked up the machine (with nowhere to test it). And, of course, it ended up not working at all. Danny Johnson promised my friend to return her money. But then it was nothing but excuses for weeks and now he has been ghosting her all month.

A coworker recently asked for moving company recommendations, and I remembered how great of an…read moreexperience I had with Ted's in 2017. That prompted me to make sure I had left a review, which looks like I didn't, so here I am. The owner, Ted, is an Air Force veteran, and his discipline really shows in his moving company as well. Everything him and his crew moved for me made it in perfect condition with no dings to the walls or doors. I also really liked that when we made it to my new place, we went through the condo and gave each room a name. So as the crew brought boxes and furniture in, I simply had to tell them which room to put it in. They even helped me assemble the furniture and centered everything. Which, I'm a stickler for, so the centering was much appreciated. High quality service, well thought out process, and reasonably priced.

Brooke was recommended to me by a mutual friend who happened to also run the homecare agency. I texted Brooke on a Friday afternoon not anticipating a return call or text until the following week but she called me that night and I was immediately impressed with her just over the phone. Brooke came and gave us a quote to clean out the home. She was professional, friendly and caring. We realized our kids played baseball for the same league so she kept up with me through out my grandmothers illness. My granny ended up passing away and the home was left for my sister and I to deal with. My granny was a collector of many things and it was a tremendous job to clean it out. Brooke, her assistant and her husband came to help us finish the job doing the hardest part which was emptying out a very full and very hot attic (in July). They also helped me clean out the last two rooms. They were very careful and meticulous to leave anything that could be of value out for me. The times that I couldn't be there with them they actually packed items in boxes for me. I couldn't recommend this company more. They are caring, hard working, empathetic and they did an amazing job cleaning out the rooms and attic we hired them for. What I love about this company is I felt cared for and they were comforting me as we did this very hard task right after loosing my grandmother. I can tell this isn't just a job for them they actually see it as an opportunity to serve you in a time of need. If you need your home decluttered, cleaned out, organized, or packed to move I would recommend them 10 out of 10. The company name says it all. carefree moving. They took a very stressful situation and helped take the stress and pressure off of my sister and I. I also believe price wise they are very competitive with other companies and gave us a great rate. It was very affordable for what we hired them to do. Don't hesitate just reach out. You will not be disappointed.
