So, I received an approved referral from one of the worst medical insurance companies, AppleCare. I called the office and questioned why the office stated "Wellness Institute"? I asked does the MD practice homeopathic medicine? Usually wellness is associated with that type of a practice. I also asked what is the difference between your "Wellness Institute" to a regular office of a Nephrologist? Here is what the office stated: The doctor is the owner of Quest Dialysis. What???? A nephrologist that promotes dialysis instead of preventing it????? Then she changed the statement to.... Well, he is co-owner. Like that makes a difference!!!! Then she went on to state that they also do "research" there at the "Wellness Institute". Research? I asked. You mean like testing with new drugs, trials etc? So basically, the MD (If I even dare call him that) gets funds to perform trials on his patients (ie guinea pigs), then when the side effects of the drugs rip their kidneys to shreds then he still makes money by sending them to "his" dialysis center! DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, go to this person that obtained a degree, not a MD. He is plainly only in this business for money$$$$$$$! Beware! This is not a "Wellness Institute" This is a trial and error factory laced with your kidney failure for his gain!! read more
