Jorge has helped us on many project on our home in Palm Desert. He is well beyond a handyperson in terms of skill, knowledge and quality of work. Easy to work with, clean, great detail and always happy with the work. We tend to follow up with anyone to confirm a future appointment so what some 1 star reviews state as an issue. Even if this was a problem I would rather take time and follow up and have the work done at a top level and use his extensive knowledge to find the best way to complete a project - - no handyman you hire can touch his level of skill and knowledge read more

If I could give less than one star I would. This guy comes off nice, but doesnt follow through. Said he would do the work we agreed on couple of doors, tv hang etc. that week. And never shows up again and wont return calls. And this is after being paid that he kept pushing for knowing he was going to take money and not return. Thank God I didnt pay it all in advance! Point is he is a liar and didnt do what he said once he got some money. After this I looked and his reviews are years old. Dont hire him!! Many other good workers with integrity. read more

George is awesome. He responded quickly. Although his schedule was pretty full, our schedules were able to work perfectly and was able to complete the job as we discussed. My wife was staging a property in Palms Springs to be sold. The unit needed some painting in various spots and rooms. George came in, matched and blended the colors perfectly. I originally called George up to help fix an installation that had gone horribly for me. He was polite, took my call on a Thursday afternoon, and told me about his upcoming availability, but never pinned down a precise date to come by. As promised, I sent him a bunch of images of the situation, via text message, and waited his response. The weekend came and went and no response from him. When Monday rolled around, I left him two voice messages on his phone...in in the morning and one closer to evening. No Response. I find this type of behavior completely disrespectful. I would not suggest using him because he is very flaky and does not communicate well. Do a little more research and find someone who gives you more than just lip service. read more

He is responsive, transparent in pricing and timing and the work he's done so far is fantastic. We have used his services for painting and repair and the result was amazing, on a very, very old (not easy to work on) home. I talked to George three times to have a small hole fixed in my drywall said he would do it Monday or Tuesday he would call me back and let me know he did not call me back so I called him on Monday and ask him if it was going to be Monday or Tuesday he said he would call me back on Tuesday between 10 and 11 did not call by 2 PM so I called him and was sent to a voicemail after only three ring so I know that as a way of hanging up on me and the voicemail said it is full and can't take no messages. Would not recommend it He does not respond to texts or phone calls also I let him know it was a rental and I kind of needed to know if he could do it. At least call me and say you don't want to do it rather than egging me on and having to call you and not get any response from you I would not recommend this person to do any work as he is not responsible enough to make a phone call. read more

Our watering system was not working. George came out the day I called him and diagnosed the problem very quickly! It was the controller that was bad. The next day he went to Home Depot and bought the sprinkler control box that was recommended, he installed it but it was not the proper one! He took it down, went back to Home Depot and got the other one which he installed and it is working perfectly. All of this and his charge was very reasonable! Thank you, George! read more

He said he was going to come on Thursday and he actually did . George called me to come a few minutes early . The work was done very fast .The worker was polite and took the time to explain to me about an extra feature that the bycicle had . Best handyman ever! Really MUCH more than just a handyman, George has the skill and ability to tackle any job, large or small. He does quality work, and is great to work with. He's willing to do a variety of odd jobs, and will work hard to make sure you're happy with the end result. In 2015 George helped us with some major backyard improvements and upgrades, including 8 large stone pillars, a built in barbecue, 2 large patches of all new artificial grass, as well as building a storage shed. In 2018, we underwent a major home remodel that included a stone fireplace, a stone dining room wall, new paint throughout including trim and crown molding. George has been doing small projects around my house for about 2 years. Installing chandeliers, assembling a desk, putting together shelving in my closet installing baseboards.. I am always really happy with the final result. He stands behind his work, shows up on time and is reasonably priced. Recently I had him redo my fireplace. It used to have small 6x6 tiles. I purchased all the materials myself and he laid all the stacked stone as well as the fireplace mantle. Originally I wanted him to lay the the stone directly onto the wall. When he showed up the morning to start the project he suggested adding cement board to make the stone stick out a few inches. I didn't even know to do that. I was so thankful he suggested it because the stone looks so mich better coming off the wall slightly. I love how it turned out! read more

He has knowledge in more then just handyman work. All my little jobs turned out perfect. He gives an honest opinion on what works and what doesn't.
