I lot of things went wrong with the visit today. First of all - the Doctor "Linda Ngo D.D.S. " was the nightmare of my experience. She was definitely not flexible with the treatment, not efficient and not professional in my opinion. After taking new X-rays for my daughter they switch the treatment plan and give a couple of option. When I decide to take wherever was most convenient for me she switch the arguments and refuse to complete the treatment. She end up doing what she wanted. On top of that she skip the upper side work and only completed the bottom one. (with was definitely not what we agreed ). Now she is going to come back and pay again for sedation and anesthesia witch it's not cover by my insurance. In addition of forcing my daughter to get a root canal and placing a crown ( witch she never ask me what type-color I wanted for her). Placing a very visible silver Resin and crown on her mouth . Also, I found it very ridiculous that they are adding a fee to all clients because of the Covid19 "listed as an unspecified fee" There is a lot more things I can add but just to make it short. Please do not take your kids to this place. Very , very disappointed. They are just taking advantage with fees and forcing you to get work done you don't really need. Gerry.

The doctors and staff are amazing and always greet us with a smile. My two teenagers have always been afraid of visiting the dentist. However, when we started our dental journey at Sugarbug they seemed to get more comfortable with the idea and even agreed to getting braces. Both recently graduated about a year ago from ortho and I don't think words can suffice with how happy my husband and I are with the results and care our children received! I believe we have been visiting the Oxnard location for over seven years now and have also visited one of the newer offices in Camarillo. Both the dental and orthodontics offices and staff are incredible, informative, attentive and professional. At this point I wouldn't trust any other dental group to take care of my family. We asked last enrollment what insurance they take and the front counter said Delta, so we got delta. Come to find out they won't take a certain type of delta insurance? Wrote an email to speak to the insurance coordinator. No response or return call. While the dentist are great, the front office makes it a horrible place. Now we can't renew our insurance until next enrollment and we are stuck paying heavily on services for our kids. I've always been taught if you don't know something for sure, get back to the person or say I don't know. I guess common sense is gone with this place.
