My husband and I have been going to a fabulous dentist in Beverly Hills - but our insurance changed and he wasn't in network anymore. We ended up in Dr Bovili's office in Beverly Hills (he has one in Santa Monica too). Wow! He's amazing. 1. The office is very modern and extremely clean. 2. They play light "elevator music" which is not my favorite but soothing. 3. The office manager, assistant and Dr are fantastic. I have never seen and been explained about every tooth in my mouth whilst showing me my X-ray AND photos. Also - he didn't recommend any "extra charge" items. Just did my exam and cleaned my teeth! I came in for my routine cleaning & I was also interested in getting Invisalign. He walked me through the whole Invisalign procedure & what could be expected from my teeth. At the end of November I started to feel extreme tooth pain. Using Google maps a was able to locate the clinic, since they were one of a few who was working on a Saturday. Basics: Dr. Bovili is easy on the eyes, highly skilled at what he does and is open late on Tuesdays. As someone who works in health care myself, I need someone who is open late so I can get my dental work done without taking time off work. Dr. Bovili is not too far from my Los Angeles home, and he had great reviews and came highly recommended by a friend. I was the only one there that evening so after registration, I was taken right in for some x-rays and examination. I didn't need a simple cleaning--I needed FOUR restorations on my teeth to help them be less sensitive. It hurt when I brushed; it hurt when I ate. I've been holding out for a long time because of my work schedule, and I am deathly, DEATHLY afraid of the dentist--I need just the right person to work on me. I need someone who LISTENS, and Dr. Bovili was that man. He and his assistant were very non-judgmental regarding the state of my teeth and both made sure that any pain was addressed (note: it was actually nothing I couldn't handle). They even left me with tips on how to brush properly around sensitive areas. Now my teeth feel and look fabulous! After the disappointment my partner and i got from the previous dental office, i decided to look for other dentist around our place. I did some research reading the reviews and thanks to Zocdoc i found Dr. George Bovili. My partner got treated first and totally happy. Today i finally visited the office for the first time, i was greeted by the receptionist (Inga) who was nice & helpful. After filling up the forms, I met Dr. George who i thought was very friendly and honest about his evaluation. He actually did a great job cleaning my teeth himself. I went to Dr. Bovili's office for a routine check-up and cleaning. The whole experience went smoothly and without a hitch. The dentist himself was cool, calm and collected through the whole procedure, which made me comfortable (I get overwhelmed with dentist chairs, tools, etc.). Now you see, my teeth are very important to me (look at my smile =D) but I didn't treat them the best growing up. I barely flossed, brushed only in the morning and most nights before bed, and also ate an abundance of sugar loaded foods. Needless to say, I've had a few fillings and a couple broken molars in times past. Dr. Bovili, thank goodness I have PPO dental insurance...he was able to replace all of my silver fillings with composite and even gave me new teeth (beautiful crowns) on a couple (#4 & #30); one was practically gone and the other would of went after some time. With Dr. Bovili's encouragement I'm now eating healthier foods that don't damage my teeth, flossing after each meal, and brushing/rinsing with mouthwash thrice daily. My experience under the care of Dr. Bovili has truly been heads and shoulders above that of any dentist I've been to or even heard of in times past. I mean when he anesthetized me up I was like what needle? He's that good! And soon I will be seeing Dr. Bovili less often =( because my teeth are doing that well =D. Dr. Bolivi is not a sales man which already put me at ease upon meeting him. He is straight forward and lets you decide what the best route for you is. He is amazingly talented, my brother who is also a dentist ( but practices out of state) went to dental school with him and says everyone referred to Dr. Bolivi as the guy with "the hands of GOD". I usually don't like visiting the dentist because I hate people in my face. But I needed my teeth cleaned and to get usual exam/X-ray. Dr. Boviili is awesome, he is kind and showed me some great tips on how to correctly floss. I now have clean teeth and might have to pull out all my wisdom very soon but I'm definitely going to him. There is a parking structure next to office near Rite-aid that is free for the first 2 hours, knowing how parking can be really annoying, it was easy getting there! I immediately scheduled an appointment to get a check up and sure enough I found myself in the Dr's. office the very next Saturday as my work schedule is not very flexible.
