I like this dentist (somewhat), but I do have a lot of issues with them which I want to honestly address. You really, really have to watch them because they are constantly trying to upsell you on something, like nearly every visit it's always something different that they want to do to my teeth and it's starting to get on my nerves. Everything is always a catastrophe with them, even when my teeth are perfectly fine. I have no major issues beyond the usual tartar buildup, cavities (level 1 last time I was in), and wisdom teeth woes that everyone struggles with. And yet nearly every single time I come into this office, they're trying to sell me something and push some unnecessary procedure on me that I didn't ask for. One day it's some sort of flouride trays you wear overnight because apparently my teeth are going to fall out of my head otherwise. Then some other time they want to file my teeth down and put crowns on them because I have a bit of mild permanent staining on my molars which I have had for years and told them I really don't care about. I don't work in television so no one is looking in my mouth like that. Just on and on constant catastrophes and making it seem like I am in some sort of imminent dental danger unless I do this very expensive thing to my teeth. And of course when you decline they huff and puff and start with the "well akshually" song and dance, and I try very hard to sit there and not argue with them because all I want is to get my teeth cleaned and go home. From my own observations, it seems that a lot of this behavior is a mixture of arrogance stemming from their overhyped, wealthy, but clueless clientele, one or two celebrity clients who probably get everything comped unlike us mere plebs, and simply pure, zip code snobbery. A lot of people are paying out of pocket, don't ask what they're paying for, but as long as you spin them a good story about how amazing something is and how it's going to give them Hulk teeth that can chomp dinosaur bones to bits, they don't really care and aren't interested. I mean that's fine for other people, but I've had bad experiences with dentists in the past trying to bleed me dry when they find out you're not broke so I have learned to question them when they tell you things - half of the stuff they recommend is not necessary unless you have really, really jacked up teeth. Which I don't. I also forgot to mention that one of their billers tried to get me to drop my excellent insurance plan with Delta Dental for something through Covered CA which would, of course, increase the amount of money they could charge me. Never saw her again after I called them out on this nonsense. Then after my last visit they lied YET AGAIN and said I only have two covered cleanings in a calendar year which is a bunch of bull - all cleanings are covered, so again the constant lying and gaslighting with them is insane. And the last time I came in, they had a TikTok streamer or whatever with his gold chains jangling and one of the hygienists standing in the lobby taking up all the oxygen yapping about their tens of hundreds of views and trading tips on how to viralmaxx their accounts. i know it's LA so everyone is almost famous, but no. I know people are reading this and probably wondering why I keep going back. The truth is I enjoy seeing them die a little inside every time I come in and refuse all their ridiculous $5000 treatment plans and basically walk out paying at most $100 or so for routine cleanings and fillings. They get so bitter when you come in with nice teeth; they'll literally stonewall you and pout and not speak to you or be friendly during your treatment, it's just hilarious to me to see them try to come up with some excuse to drill, saw, or cut into my mouth and I just simply tell them no lol. Thankfully I am moving abroad again in a few months so I don't have to deal with them ever again. read more

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Michelle at Beverly Hills Dentistry and had an amazing experience. I actually found the office on YouTube while researching the removal of veneers. They use the Fotona laser which safely removes the veneer without damaging your original teeth underneath. I had my veneers put on by a different dentist/practice and was never truly satisfied with them. It was a quick and painless procedure. Oh my gosh, this place let me see how I can explain this without making it a storybook. I am from Arizona originally from Ca. I have been looking for someone for the last 5+ years. Long story short my husband found this place. He is so scared of going to the dentist. Ever since he found them he has hands down has had the best experience ever! As well as myself I am so happy to have found them. We make that 20+ hour drive just for them. The minute you walk in the door. I kid you, not it's like walking into a different world. The front staff and every single employee you meet. I think I have now met them all. Is so extremely nice, and so thoughtful. The doctors and staff have all the biggest hearts. We are so happy we have found them I can't not say enough good things about this place. This would be our 2nd time and counting and the experience was just as good as the first. Their technology is mind-blowing. I believe that's what makes them more special than any other dentist offices I've ever come across. It's quite an experience and I HIGHLY recommend this place. Went in for the first time for an exam and was pleased with how comprehensive the review was. Even included a CT scan showing me the health and issues of my breathing passageways which was incredibly insightful and valuable. The staff was amazing, Chelsea was friendly and walked me through everything efficiently and Dr. Hsu gave me a clear and concise explanation of all the issues affected by my dental health as well as a full plan on how to optimize from there. Went in there looking to fix cosmetic issues, but came out with a plan to significantly improve my breathing as well by widening my narrow pallete. I inherited bad teeth. I have moved around a lot, so I've been to many dentists. I've had some good results and too many bad results. Yesterday I had to have an old bridge removed because of decay under the old one. I was very anxious going in. I dreaded the procedure. My old bridge was removed as was the decay. I waited about 15 minutes or so while a new bridge was being made in the office (no need to go to a lab). I was in and out in well under 3 hours. I have had absolutely no pain. The worst part was my anxiety leading up to the procedure. I NEVER have had such good care from any of the many dentists I've been to. The entire office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Although it is very expensive, it is worth every penny and they will make sure to correct any insufficient work (if it ever failed). Office Experience Everyone are friendly and communicate directly to each other well. Any concerns/history are well documented and patients do not have to keep conveying messages in every visits. Teeth Cleaning Experience Gil is very attentive and cleans teeth very well. Beside cleaning, he checks for mouth cancer and overall teeth health. He will assess your dental health and recommend products and guide you how to brush/floss your teeth better. If you have any concerns (e.g. possible cavity, inflamed gum, etc...), Gil listens attentively and evaluates whether the concerns are valid and will provide recommendations. Specialized Work Experience I came to BHD because of bad work from my prior dentist where my teeth broke off and was concerned if I needed a dental implant. Dr. Michele Frawley assessed the tooth and performed a flawless and conservative work in making sure that the tooth structure are still intact and healthy (I didn't need a dental implant, yay!). Even when I had some gum loss, she took the conservative method and make sure that the crown will cover my natural tooth, without ever the need of expensive gum graft. Although the work took a long time, I am very happy that they took the conservative and careful route in making sure they perform an excellent care and didn't rush through the work sloppily. This place was impeccable! I had an emergency situation with my veneer where it was loose and this dental office was able to get me in right away. I went to several other dentists prior and they all said I need a new veneer (3k) to replace it and that they had to break my current veneer which was in good condition it was just loose. Anyone with veneers will tell you it is difficult to match old veneers with new ones. Anyways, I called and the front office had first class service and everyone that worked there was so nice. I got in and Dr. Kevin Frawley knew immediately what to do and took action. He numbed me and within 5 minutes he popped off my tooth in perfect condition and was able to cement it back on. COMPLETELY PAIN FREE. I didn't feel the injection and I was so shocked and impressed that they were able to save my original veneer. I was worried for 2 solid weeks until I found this place. I have been coming to BHD for years now. I came in I totally for a cleaning as a recommend from a friend. Instantly felt comfortable and taken care of. I had been really unhappy with my smile and hated my "gummy" look and grinding chips on my front teeth. I talked with Dr. Michelle about it and she walked me through all of my options with compassion and really listened. I ended up doing Invisalign then had some gum reduction (which I was terrified of I totally but quickly realized I shouldn't have been) and then Dr. Michelle did bonding work on my 6 top front teeth. Who would name a practice as such other than to bank on the "Beverly Hills" branding?That's what I initially thought, but they actually don't need the branding because this practice can rest on its professionalism, competence, and passion for both cosmetic and general dentistry. I sought them because I needed a dentist who could remove veneers with lasers as opposed to drilling them off. I had already been through two terrible dentists. One, a noted cosmetic dentist over twenty years ago. Who, no surprise, subsequently had her license revoked and no longer can practice dentistry because she was negligent to so many patients. The other, an adequate general dentist, deceived me by portraying himself to be a competent and caring cosmetic dentist. He promised me services like accompanying me to the labs, possessing state of the art equipment, and testimonies of other cosmetic dentistry patients. The outcome of the new veneers was beyond sub par, and the whole process was the most horrific experience ever. He never delivered on his promises and left me in despair. I was skeptical and weary to try any dentist after what I'd been through, but I had to find someone to fix what was put on my teeth. Thus, the fact that Beverly Hills Dentistry had laser removal convinced me to continue researching them online. Everything that I could find from their website to their social media and reviews seemed great, but I was nervous still since I'd been through such an ordeal with my current dentist. But I figured nothing could be worse than what I had, so I gave them a call. It was the best call I made for my oral health. Initially, I spoke with Irene, the treatment coordinator, who was very friendly and helpful, but she then connected me with Edwin, the CEO, for a more detailed explanation of their procedures. He spent almost two hours on the phone answering all of my in-depth questions and concerns. He was very responsive to my further inquiries as well. I felt comfortable to then schedule a consultation with Dr. Michele Frawley. An extremely knowledgeable, and skilled dentist, Dr. Michele truly cares about the health and well-being of her patients. She loves being a dentist, and her patients are proof of her deft hand with general and, especially, cosmetic dentistry. She genuinely wants to craft your smile to your full satisfaction and is confident to listen to your wants and needs with understanding and without insecurity. It's a truly collaborative process. From state of the art equipment to a warm and friendly staff, this practice has it all. They're prompt and efficient but still maintain a caring, family atmosphere. I even booked a cleaning for my adult daughter to be a patient too after my initial meeting with Dr. Michele. We drive 1.5 hours from Orange County, and it's worth it.
