They returned 3 more times trouble shooting the problem but each time the problem continued. On the fourth time they finally decided to change the hot water valve that was replaced in July 2023 and sent me an invoice for the service call for the replacement of the faulty valve which they replaced in the first place. I talked with the Sales manager Trent who said they could not do this replacement for free. I explained to him that it should not be at my cost because you used a faulty valve. Then spoke with the owner Cory, explaining the same thing and he also said what Trent said. They adjusted the invoice less $65.00, which in my opinion is ridiculous! At no fault of my own they installed the valve and I was more than happy to pay the initial cost but cannot understand why I would have to pay for the replacement cost of the faulty valve they installed.

Thankfully I was quick enough to slam on my breaks to avoid being T-boned. My stuff in my truck went flying and some items were damaged. I spoke with the officer manager to advise them of this behaviour and I was assured it would be addressed as their vehicle have GPS and I have dash cam video. They have never reached out to discuss replacing my damaged items that we damaged due to the negligence of their employee who bu the ay gave me the dirtiest of looks when he was the one breaking traffic laws. This encounter has made them memorable enough I will NOT use them for any services.

I have been dealing with construction companies for over 17 years…read more I have never seen a job so poorly done with total disregard for the overall project. It was a simple garage pad and sidewalk however Derek concrete was absolutely the worst choice. The garage pad is noncompliant with the city of Edmonton even though they were given proper permit locations. The sidewalks are crooked and uneven with improper expansion joints. The driveway is too steep causing my car to bottom out each time I drive in and out of my garage. water is pooling in the garage pad. The water is coming in from the man door right underneath the frame into the garage obviously they've sloped the concrete into the garage not away from it . The crew also left my outside tap running causing a small flood in my basement .I have contacted Derrick concrete general manager and they are unwilling to fix any of their problems. The water in my garage is approximately 1 inch deep- which will be a drywall mold nightmare! The broom finish that they have put on the sidewalk is horrendous the trolling is bulging and not even done in some areas. I spoke with the city of Edmonton for by law and they agree that the garage pad is terrible. I have also spoken with the Better Business Bureau. Please save yourself money and headache and do not use Derek concrete for any of your projects.

Frank sells piece of mind and it's not too expensive…read more I called him on a recommendation from a friend. Our basement bathroom floor had rotted out, and we discovered it was because our drains weren't draining. We explained the problem to Frank and he came over with a pipe camera, he was quick too! After all we'd been through trying to do it on our own, it was such a relief that Frank was able to come up with a solution. He gave us precise instructions to solve the problem. (Which was tree roots, by the way.) Having never been in this situation before, we didn't know what to do, or who to call. Frank made it easy. I'd like to mention he is just a really nice guy. He's got a genuine way with people. I was pleasantly shocked with his rates too. I expected to pay a lot more than that. I hope I don't I don't need his services again too soon, but I would one hundred percent recommend him to anyone.
