Yes, this is why I needed to come here...I went all the way to the Southside to IKEA thinking (SO SILLY me) that it would have the caster for the table we own...yeah, no...the casters now are different on their furniture so that trip was wasted (and I wasn't about to buy another coffee table). Caster Town was my "shot in the dark" spot and after having been here for all of 15 minutes (thanks to a lovely and pleasant gentleman [Duane] who presides over this interesting place), I recommend ALL who need a caster replaced to come here! Bring in the one you are replacing and they will help you by having it or by recommending where you may be able to find it :-)

Renovating our kitchen, we decided to get new counter tops. Since we were already working with…read moreRona (that's another story), we were pointed to Graniteworx. They sent a person to measure and we were told that the large "L" shaped counter would be one solid piece - but if it had to come in two, the cut would be at "sink centre" so that it wouldn't be noticeable. The counter top arrived in two pieces with the cut right in the middle of the counter work area- VERY NOTICABLE. We sent it back and asked that they redo it as we were told it would be done. After waiting for a few days to hear back (their install guy told us we would be hearing from the manager within an hour of sending it back....nope!) we were told that this is the way it has to be - we have no choice in the matter. After it was installed, they then used what looks like a brown glue or cement between the pieces....and the top is white with pink hues...so now the cut is even more noticeable and looks horrible. We contacted Rona (because they pointed us to Graniteworx) and they took pictures and agreed it didn't look like the quality product we paid for, and said they would contact granitworx to see if it can be fixed - and of course we still haven't heard back.

Over the past few years, three feet of the edge of our driveway had dropped about 2", where it…read moremeets our triple garage pad. I obtained a quote from Merit about a month ago, and the price seemed fair, so I agreed to the work. They wanted to wait until the frost was out of the ground, and said they would be back in early May. On May 2nd, they arrived to do the job, and had it done in just over two hours. The employees did an excellent job of lifting the pad to where it originally was, and everything was cleaned up perfectly. More importantly, throughout the process the owner, manager and workers were extremely polite, efficient and great to deal with.

In July 2020, my neighbor and I got the chain-link fence installed on the back fence---our backyards back on to each other. My neighbors liked my chain-link fencing and, therefore, they decided to go with the same fence for our backyard (thank goodness!). Please note that the original chain-link fences that were installed in 2010 still look great! Atlantic Fence did a great job; e.g. timely installation, got what we wanted, the quote/cost was fair, personnel were professional, etc. The only delay was getting the fence installed was "Call Before You Dig" to come out and mark the yard...it took them 4 weeks! We placed a substantial deposit for custom office doors and a shower enclosure approximately 10 months ago. After repeated emails and phone calls from both myself and our project manager went unanswered for weeks, we were forced to advise Forge 53 that the delays were impacting our clients' possession date. On May 14, we finally received a response apologizing for the "radio silence," citing staffing changes and a backlog of custom projects. At that time, we were advised that fabrication would be completed by May 18/19, with installation anticipated as early as the week of May 25. Those dates have long since passed. Since then, multiple additional attempts to obtain an update have gone unanswered. We still do not have the products we ordered, a confirmed installation date, or any indication of when this matter will be resolved.
