Update **BUYER…read moreBEWARE** Do NOT hire Lashawn Pipkins with Me and Mom's Cleaning Services Unlimited. I never wanted to write this update in my Yelp in hopes of it being resolved, but I'm also adding this to the Google review to spare others the headache and heartache we experienced. My original review was positive because we hadn't truly seen/looked close up at the things we had asked to have done and when we did oh were we disappointed but figured one or two things no biggie. Then we went to paint areas and add new bulbs and one after another we were finding things not cleaned like we asked. Again, excuse after excuse. So, needless to say I had to do an update. Here are the excuses I heard from Lashawn the owner (tired, wasn't feeling well, it was her teams fault, had to fire the two people who helped her, mom was in hospital, mom passed away, I'll pay you when I get back in town from my mom passing away etc). I realized without warning others I would never get this resolved and didn't believe in the company's integrity any longer. I ended up requesting a mere $300 refund when I was told by so many others that I really should have asked for a majority of it back. I wish to be kind but I'm literally having to "re"-clean so many areas of this house that Lashawn said would be done, that were half or not done at all. We were moving into a house that needed a Deep Clean & our only desire was to move into a clean and sanitized home with no issues. Initially I looked superficially because I trusted Lashawn at her word and was so excited over the smell of cleaning supplies. I feel taken! I will provide pictures and video of the issues we had. I'm very disappointed I paid $900 in addition to a $200 tip for a disgusting master bathroom shower door had grim that looked like some kind of brain matter dripping (was soap built up with nasty bacteria), all the floors throughout the ENTIRE house left our white socks & bare feet blackened and sticky on day 1.We don't wear shoes in our house in order to maintain clean floors but we didn't even have clean flooring to maintain because of what Lashawn didn't do. Blinds and windowsills were left dirty, top of the kitchen cabinets had a thick layer of dirt and dust obviously from the previous owners who lived here 30 years and clearly hadn't cleaned and I'm not honestly sure that Lashawn and her team really did either. Despite specific requests and confirmation, NONE of the light fixtures or ceiling fans were cleaned. I reached out immediately to Lashawn and was simply looking for her to come back and make it right. Slowly (due to her lack of response) I started receiving the excuses as to why she couldn't come back or blaming her team for the halfway completed job. Since there were so many supposed obstacles for her to come back, this is when I decided to ask for the $300 refund ($200 tip, $100 cleaning). Lashawn agreed but has not followed through. One of the ways that she said she would ensure this doesn't happen to anyone in the future was to fire her two employees that helped her clean our home. Unfortunately as is per usual when you tell a lie, it's hard to keep up with whom you've told what and I think she forgot that she introduced them to me as her daughter and son-in-law. On her Facebook, they clearly haven't been fired and are shown in her jobs since the one she did on our home. Maybe what she did with my home is her standard of clean, but I just can't get past all the lying as well as the simple fact that we had agreed certain things would be done and those specific things weren't done whatsoever. I cried realizing in all actuality I paid this cleaning business $900 plus a $200 tip to have to have a deep clean done and I'm having to keep on finding that I'm redoing all that cleaning.

She took the time to notice damage and unfinished construction. She even sent pictures with notes. Thank goodness she noticed a leak under the master bath sink before any real damage. The house was throughly cleaned and passed out expectations. We will definitely use her services in the future!!!
