If you are looking for a truly professional massage therapist and master in his craft, look no…read morefurther than Andy at San Diego Massage Now. Unlike other massages I've received, particularly from chains like Massage Envy, Andy is clearly an actual expert and devotee of massage therapy. Andy took the time and care to understand my individual needs and pain points and was, for lack of a better description, in tune with my muscles. Other massage therapists feel like they're just moving in some memorized pattern, but Andy seems to truly feel out the muscles, progressing from pain point to pain point to create true relief for me. My favorite thing about receiving a massage from Andy is the professionalism and depth of knowledge. Andy can tell you by name each muscle of yours that are clearly strained and in pain, and which other muscle groups affect them. Only good things to say about Andy and San Diego Massage Now!

I've always tried to keep myself in good shape, but unfortunately, bad backs run in my family. So…read morewhen I started to have chronic back problems about 2 years ago, I decided to start investing in deep-tissue and therapeutic massages once every couple of weeks. I went to the local massage school and basically tried everyone that worked there at least once. While the massages felt good, and made me feel better in the short term, one of the things I noticed was that I would often feel worse after the massage than I did beforehand! So I kept looking, hoping that I would find a therapist that not only gave a massage that felt good, but one who actually helped me heal faster and stay healthy well after the massage was over. Finally, I found Greg. Right away I could tell that he was different, because he didn't just treat the problem--he treated the whole body. He worked on my back, of course, but he also worked on my flexibility, my range of motion, my circulation, etc. His massages feel great, and you're very relaxed the whole time (he is very easygoing and friendly). Most importantly, however, you feel much better well after the massage is over. When I started massages with Greg, I was trying to cope with a low level of back pain almost every day, and I couldn't even touch my toes because my muscles were so tight. Now I am pain-free and I can touch my palms all the way to the floor. I'm running faster, I feel stronger, my stress level is down, and I'm much more productive at work. The benefits are well worth the cost, and since Greg is an independent therapist, he can offer great deals anyway! I recommend Greg very highly. If you're currently getting massages from someone else but feel like they could be better, I would recommend that you try Greg instead. Or, if you're a first timer and are a little apprehensive, go ahead and give him a try. You'll be happy you did.

I saw a couple of other heath professionals that I have had excellent results from in the past that are highly regarded. They helped my issues, but I still had significant discomfort. Greg got me 90% fixed in a single session. I went from wincing upon every step to being nearly pain free in a single session (just a bit of muscle soreness, to be expected). If I could give Greg 10 stars I would. My bride would give Greg big stars, now she doesn't have to listen to me complain any longer! If you have pain issues, run, walk, or crawl to Greg. He has now become the cornerstone of my health regimen. Reasonably priced and gets results.

I used to think all massages were more or less the same until I met Killian. After dozens of…read moremediocre sessions at big-name chains, Killian was the first therapist who truly made a difference. I'm so glad I followed him to his own practice in Mission Valley. Not only is the value incredible, but the quality is unmatched. Killian is so nice and always asks for feedback to ensure the pressure is exactly right (I get medium pressure). The office is in a vintage Mission Valley building by Benihana - if you feel like you're in the wrong spot, you've found it! I am so grateful to have found him and am already looking forward to my next session.

This is on the day before my class pass credit cycle renews so I am now unable to use the class pass credits because I have too many to roll forward. I had this massage booked for a week and was very much looking forward to it. I do not know Killian and cannot speak on his massage but I would warn against booking on class pass with this massage therapist.

Thorough sport recovery work that produces results! Josh…read morehas been helping my 17 y.o. daughter recover from 2 years of pulled hamstrings, sciatica, and piriformis issues due to skating bowls and varsity tennis. We have gone through insurance tapping into their physical therapy that gave minor results and much less in depth hands on recovery. A lot of time wasted running around and getting worksheets to take home only for her to be hobbling as if she had never gone in the first place. Josh immediately sat with her to listen to her pains and triggers. He used multiple forms of recovery work to get her on the court and help her play out the undefeated season. Each session she goes from slouched and hobbling to standing upright and walking WITH relief! I am so grateful to have this gem in our court striving to keep her as pain free as possible and moving toward full mobility. His decades of experience, kind heart and empathy, athlete mindset, and professionalism are a breath of fresh air. If you are looking for REAL recovery and not just a band aid, book with Josh @ Hands on Wellness. You won't be disappointed!
