I have been at this dental office longer than the dentist. Unfortunately after many years I found…read morethe care I was getting to be unacceptable. First I broke a tooth. We decided to do a crown. The temporary crown didn't feel right after a few weeks. I went in and had it checked and was sent home. That weekend I had pus coming out of my gum. I went in and a root canal was done. When I went in for the permanent crown weeks later an x-ray was taken. I saw the look on both the dentist and that of his assistant and I new it wasn't going to be good. He turned and said I can send you to a gum specialist but gave me no reason why. I asked if the tooth was gone or not and he replied it doesn't look good. I said so why are you sending me to someone else so I can pay for him to tell me it's gone? I said Just pull it. He pulled the tooth and said I don't understand how it abscessed so quickly and he asked the assistant if she saw anything. She said yes right there and pointed to my x-ray. He then turned around and offered me $500 off a bridge. I decided to do Invisalign first to straighten 2 front teeth. I was almost done when I found a bump at the top of my gum that went into my nostril. I went in and told him. I thought he'd take an x-ray but he just felt my gum for a long time. He cut the attachments off my teeth and scanned me for retainers. I said so I'm keeping the bump and his reply was it's fine it'll look like you have a fuller lip. I believe that was the 20th on the 24th I ate two french fries and my tooth ached. Two bites of toast the 25th did the same thing. I called the office on the 26th and told the girl that my tooth was not okay. She said we were just about to call you he wants you in here ASAP. My husband was with me when I was told my tooth had been pushed up into my gum to far and I could have nerve damage. He already had trays there. The date the trays were packaged was the 22nd. So someone knew there was a problem and I was never told resulting in more damage. From the 26th forward I've never ate using the tooth again. Below is just part of what I went through after starting the new trays. Top tooth ached when I would floss. Told him multiple times and then told him I couldn't get floss in between the teeth. He told me just don't floss. Tooth ended up aching come to find out the tooth was moved over to far. Now I had a new smaller bump and needed more trays. At tray 11 which would mean 100-110 days after my tooth was damaged he took an x-ray. Bottom tooth twisted. Mentioned it. Nothing till I spoke to the manager. Now he was gonna fix it. Trays made my gums burn. His excuse we're moving teeth. When we got to the end of the trays he decided I was due for retainers even after I told him the top tooth needing adjusting not once but twice. A front tooth one of the two I paid $4800 to have fixed I couldn't use to eat and it was at a slant. He said he could fix it by trimming it. When I got home and looked in the mirror the tooth was not fixed. I can look in the mirror standing at my bathroom sink and see where perfectly good tooth was taken off. My burning gums were caused due to the fact my teeth were moved to far forward. They put pressure on my top teeth causing facial pain. I can not relax my lower jaw comfortably and have a lot of migraines. I had called the office during covid trying to get help. I asked about backing up some trays and getting a second opinion on my top tooth and the office girl said to wait and see what he wanted to do. The retainers aggravated the damaged top tooth immediately. I finally get an appointment and tell him how the tooth felt. He ran his finger up and down my gum and as he's walking off he said your gums are fine. He goes and stands down at the foot of the dental chair and says I can get you a new retainer. I said I didn't think the tooth was ready for a retainer. I asked him what he was going to do about the pain caused from the bottom teeth being moved out to far. He just stood there and stared at me I said you can look in my mouth and see it. He just stood there. I said this is totally unacceptable and left. If I felt I was being treated right I'd never have walked away from $500. I asked for my records. They were done by his assistant and by him. All the important parts were left out and the fact he wouldn't look in my mouth totally left out. I eventually got into a specialist for a different reason. I told him about the tooth. It took him 20 seconds maybe less to tell me he thought my nerve was dead and that just the slant in which my tooth was left and it's root could cause my pain. He also believed my root might have gone through the bone. Went to a endodontist $290. I was told root canal $1100 If I still have pain surgery to go in and trim off the root of my tooth $1350. I'm still trying to find out if I'll also need a crown. Then there is also the chance I'll lose the tooth. He'd tell me it just takes time when I'd ask why I couldn't use my tooth.

Never go here. I went in, got my whole procedure, and paid my bill in full on the day I had it…read more Nine months later, I got a call from debt collections. Seacoast never made contact with me and the outstanding balance was for something they forgot to charge me for while I was there. They went to debt collections over $250, when I had already paid them nearly $2,000, without receiving any notice that they wanted more money on top of the bill I paid on the day of the surgery. The manager was extremely rude when I called, leveraged things from my personal life against me for no reason when I was justifiably upset, and tried to get her little tit for tats in during the conversation, rather than resolving the issue, and did nothing to solve the situation. Dr. Pak was a good doctor and my wisdom teeth surgery went fine and healed well, but at the end of the day there are plenty of good oral surgeons out there. I did call back to apologize for some of my rudeness during my call with the manager, and, for the record, I received no apology in kind for the manager's rudeness to me or for their mishandling of my account, both when they failed to bill me initially and when they sent it to debt collections without trying my phone number or email, both of which were on file. I feel like that's a very unfair way to treat a good customer, and I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. I have a lot more dental work that needs to be done, and I am blessed with the means to pay for it, but I will never return to this office and will encourage anyone looking for dental care to avoid it. I always pay my bills on time, and they completely mishandled this situation and treated me with disdain and rudeness when I did everything they ever asked me to do.

Dental Plan and make it so difficult for me, a want to be patient of Dr. Pak. Was it my age of 75 or mean spirited? I was told by stephanie, who assists in surgery, not to talk to anyone except her or Tracie, who handle insurance. However, they were never available when I would call and they never returned my calls. I even e-mailed Tracie by way of their web site and got no response. When I did have a short conversation with either of them, I found that they were very unprofessional and argumentive. They must be very secure in their jobs to treat new patients this way. I found that I could not trust the information I was being given and realized If I could not trust this office in smaller matter, I certainly would not trust them in larger matters such as oral surgery. I must say whenever I spoke with Miranda or Jean they seemed very pleasant. I have since gone to another dentist who is more knowledgeable and professional in his treatment of me. He has a staff that is very pleasant and helpful.
