The staff at Aspen Dental in Rochester, NH are very nice. I have gotten some excellent crowns. However, they routinely postpone dental hygiene appointments at the last minute. It is very annoying! I had my first cleaning in mid-2024. That was not postponed, but the two times I made an appointment after that, it was postponed. My wife had one cleaning in 2024. Her cleaning appointment has since been postponed three times. As a result, she was unable to get her teeth cleaned at all in 2025. Then just yesterday, in January 2026, they postponed her appointment again. She has now found another dentist. I expect to join her in switching dentists. It is clear that Aspen regularly overbooks dental hygiene appointments. They need to stop this highly unprofessional practice. (For some reason Yelp shows that I am in San Francisco, CA. Charged me pre-procedure, demanded I pay the FULL PRICE to be paid UP FRONT before even SCHEDULING the procedure. Paid it off prior, and the procedure was completed. 12 months later???? Sending me DEMAND LETTERS for the price of that paid-in-full before procedure!! Refusing to acknowledge BBB complaint. Don't return calls. This place is amazing! Went to a different place at first. The other place called dental brite was horrific! Four years and three sets that were so unwearable, I literally cried every time. I went to aspen in Rochester NH! OMG! Talk about AMAZING! I literally had my mold Friday, Tuesday the wax was done and Friday perfect teeth! Literally knocked it outta the park. The quality of care was good, and the time in the office was less than expected. For an unexpected trip, this was a good experience.

There is a dentist here that needs his license revoked, he is a scam artist! Run if you come across him! He has worked at several other practices as well. He told me I needed a bunch of crowns and other work when I didn't. Crowns should only be used as a last resort! He will rob you blind and destroy your teeth. I never returned because I knew something was fishy and got a second opinion! He was incredibly rude as well. read more

Husband made mistake of letting these people do his cosmetic dentistry, as they were least expensive, at that time, a few years back. The front veneers cracked after approximately 2 1/2 years in, on the front buck teeth. The crack needed to be fixed at a different dentist, who stated that veneers should never crack that early, And that the crack was caused specifically because ASPEN DENTAL DID NOT ALLIGN HIS VENEERS AND TEETH PROPERLY. It cost us over 4 grand to get these teeth fixed,so not saving money using these people. Do NOT let Aspen dental do any major work for you, because it will cost you more in the long run to have to have their shoddy, inferior quality work redone again. read more

My husband was 13 minutes late because of work and they would not allow him to have his scheduled appointment even though there weren't many people waiting! I wish I could give zero stars. I decided to try Aspen as most of the dentists in my town are not accepting new patients. Big mistake! The dentist I saw was very rude. He walked in the room and did not introduce himself, say hello, or acknowledge me. I lost a crown and he would not put it back in. His reason being he felt I need a whole new bridge. May 8th I had a 11:45 a.m. at the Rochester, New Hampshire office; I wasn't seen, by the dentist, until 12:45 p.m.! Nor did I receive any apology for the wait time. When I made my appointment I specifically stated I sought a tooth extraction. Instead I had x-ray taken with a consultation from the dentist regarding implants for after tooth extraction. Needless to say, I didn't receive a tooth extraction that same day; for that's an entirely separate appointment. This information was withheld at the time of initial scheduling. When I had asked for their corporate number to make a complaint? I was told to "Google it" by a dental hygienist/assistant who overheard my conversation with check-out receptionist. They're rude, unprofessional, and poor skills on proper scheduling. The clinical staff would do well receiving sensitivity training. read more

First they take x-rays.painful! Then they schedule a cleaning, and my hygienist was a complete sadist! It was literally the roughest/ most painful cleaning ever! After the cleaning, I was given a dental plan. The plan says I have 3 cavities to fill, yet I never saw my x-rays and if I do have cavities they must be surface as I did not feel any pain when the dentist was pushing in the "holes." Had an affordable extraction (with insurance) with a pain-free recovery by the next day. Friendly staff, dentist asked how my pain level was halfway through, and they hooked me up with a cold pack, gauze and script for some rinse to finally finish off what was left of an abcess. I like the Rochester location a good bit better though Portsmouth did decent care in 2006 or so. read more

I went in as a first time patient to have a cap replaced on a front tooth. This was for cosmetic reasons only, it simply doesn't match. They wanted to do full x-rays, I declined so they took one of the tooth that I wanted re-capped. When the dentist came in he kept harping on wanting the full set of x-rays, I told him I simply wanted the cap done. We went back and forth about it several times. He said he could replace the cap no problem but was still insisting on the x-rays ! I don't feel I should be exposed to unnecessary x-rays ! I ended up walking out . I went to aspen dental in Nov. due to teeth I broke from a fall on the ice so they did x rays and made an appointment and pulled two teeth they also put 4 implants in everything was going fine (also they got paid over 12.000.00 dollars up front before anything was done ) well other than a lump on my gum everything else was fine because the doctor kept telling me he would take care of the problem well it got worse now and I understand there is a viral outbreak but now the membrane is exposed and the literature you are given tells you to call the office if that happens I have been calling them since March 20 2020 and all I got was an answering machine so I left a message no one responded so I called the next day and all the phone did was ring .On 4-8-20 I called the emerg, # again I was told someone would get back to me within the hour no one called back until 2:30 the next day I was set up to face time with a DR. for 9 am the next day no DR. called,now its starting to get painful because this temporary denture is cutting into my gum and upper lip on the right side at this point I am going to try and remove the sharp points on this denture' its a real shame after a 12000.00 dental procedure I have to try and fix the denture myself.At this point right now I don't know wear to turn to accept an attorney . read more

Today was my first visit to Aspen Dental in Rochester NH. I was very reluctant to go to Aspen Dental, as I had never gone to a "large" Dental Practice before. But I moved from Massachusetts to NH and my niece convinced me to try them. Today was my first, and definitely not my last, visit. I am totally on board with making this my permanent Dental Care. The atmosphere was very friendly and non-stressful. The people working there are awesome. In particular, I had interactions with Sam, Rianna, Dr. Han and Vanessa. I was getting a filling when a dental assist kept interrupting the dentist and rushing him, because someone else was waiting. I waited months for the appointment, I waited a long time in the waiting room. Now that I was in the chair I was being rushed out. They did a crapping job with the filling, it fell out, tooth became infected, and I had to go to the emergency room. Two Lessons learned. I went to do some general check for my self and root canal for my wife. This was suggested by CIGNA. When I try to book appointment the front desk (Susan) was really really informative and responsive and also when I go to hospital i feel very comfortable and good response from the people there and we booked further appointments with doctors (G and Leavell) for other checkups. I decided to do research and go to Aspen in rochester they checked me out was gunna be like 5k for a route canal 4 filling a cleaning and a crown the gentlemen jayson got me down to 2.5k fantastic was really stoked.so most of my feeling for a corporate kind of dentist setting out the window deff took care of me and was very polite. Ever since I was a kid I've had a terrible time going to the dentist, even for routine cleanings or simple things. Going to Aspen washed away all my fears. I have had teeth pulled, root canals, cleanings and fillings with many different dentists, and every single one of them was nice, professional, and very good at what they do!! When I was younger I had braces removed early, and because of the condition of my teeth I was left with two very big cavities on my front teeth. This made me self conscious to smile for almost the entirety of my high school life, and well into my first job afterwards. At this Aspen I was able to have procedures to fill in one, and get a crown to replace another. Both of these procedures were easy and painless. The doctors that worked on my mouth knew what they were doing and were great at taking care to make it as simple as possible. Now I can smile without hiding my face and it feels great! read more

Don't waste your time or money. The dentures they made me were painful to wear, and still are after attempting to get them adjusted due to pain and inability to eat without pain. Instead of correcting the problem, the doctor pushed implants on me and sent me out the door with my dentures still hurting my gums to the point where I just took them out and put them on the car seat. Money wasted on a product that I cant even use unless I want to put up with the pain. read more

Dr Yoon is a remarkable dentist, doing the best job at fillings I've ever experienced. The filling was kept as small as possible, didn't hurt at all, he worked quickly, and the damaged tooth ended up looking identical to my real tooth. The office staff is quick and professional. The worst wait time I've had there was about 15 minutes tops which was pretty impressive considering it was close to the end of the day. At first I was impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism of the dental hygienist, but after a few visits I was less impressed and finally outraged. The final straw for me was that on the last visit she hit a nerve while measuring my gums, I told her it hurt, then she didn't stop so I explained that it hurt a lot, but she insisted that it didn't hurt and kept the instrument there even after my back was arched out of the chair. If there's one thing I can't stand it's a medical related professional who doesn't listen or believe what the patient is telling them hurts. Later, I noticed my file was open on the desk and in it was a sticky-note that said I had specifically requested this woman as the only hygienist to work on me, which wasn't true. I had written her a good review after the first visit, but to assume that meant I only wanted her to work on me in the future was presumptuous. I'm a cash customer, so liked that the administrative staff here tell you right up front what the costs will be and they stick to it. I also like that they work out the best plan for procedures to cooperate with my budget. My previous dentist's administrative staff would tell me one price up front but at checkout there were almost always added fees in the hundreds of dollars that they expected me to pay on the spot, which was not appreciated. read more

I felt pain in the back of my mouth for a few days so called this office since I just moved up here so this was my first visit. On the phone they were great they worked with me and gave me an appointment for 3pm they told me to fill out all the paperwork before I came so I could be seen right away. When I got there I was not seen until around 4:30 when they took 2 X-rays and I saw a doctor for 30 seconds who told me to get my wisdom teeth removed and nothing else. Every time I make an appointment after 5pm its always rescheduled, I understand emergencies but every time, as I have said before why make them? I have been a loyal customer for some time and have even sat in the waiting room with a scheduled appointment only to be taken a half hour later and never complained. I also found that a tooth I had filled and then 2 root canals needs to be re-done, the prior work was not done by aspen. I said I wanted the tooth pulled and the dentist would not approve it. I respect the doctors professional opinion but its my mouth and money I find this completely unacceptable. read more

I had been going to Aspen Dental for about 9 years, and thought it was going well. I had to have a procedure which involved pulling 4 teeth, so I went for a second opinion. The second did find I needed 4 pulled but I was given other options for a more permanent fix. They did further inspection of my other work done by Aspen and found by fillings are leaking and will need to be replaced and a couple will need crowns. Some of this work had been done within the last couple of years. I spent way to much time and money to have to go through this now. So NO I would not recommend them. They have not had the same group of dentists now as they did 9 years ago. I have had partial plates done with them which have never fit right, was told at one point that they didn't bother me and I needed to get used to them. That was not going to happen. To top things off I have extreme bone loss which no body had bothered to tell me all these years, that does not happen over night. read more
