NIGHTMARE experience with BDK Sewer and Drain due to uncompleted work, property damage, and…read morefraudulent claims. The owner misdiagnosed a standard clog as a broken pipe, resulting in an unnecessary excavation of my front yard. He failed to provide any photographic evidence of the pipe. He then claimed the clog was resolved and that a second broken pipe existed under my basement floor, which required jackhammering. I terminated their services at this point. The following evening, my basement flooded again. A second, licensed plumber confirmed that the original clog was never resolved. Furthermore, BDK Sewer and Drain claimed that the Niskayuna Water Department verified flow to the city sewer via a camera inspection. I contacted the Niskayuna Water Department directly, and they confirmed this was false; they were turned away upon arrival. I have requested a refund from BDK Sewer and Drain, which they refused. I also requested their insurance information to file a liability claim for the property damage caused by the excavation, which they also denied. Due to these unethical practices and the failure to resolve the issue, I am disputing the payment made to this company on my credit card. Do yourself a favor and avoid this sleazy company at all costs. They took me to the cleaners.
