I have used O'Keefe Electric at both my home and my place of business, where I serve as a seasoned facility manager. It's a rare pleasure to reach out for service and actually have someone pick up the phone or call you back almost immediately. Rob and his crew have delivered excellent work ever since I started using them a few years ago. They are professional, pleasant, and respectful while working around my staff and family. They work well independently, which allows me to stay focused on my daily responsibilities without having to step in. While they may not be the cheapest in the area, their responsiveness, quality of work, and reliability provide tremendous added value. You get what you pay for--plus extra--with O'Keefe Electric. read more

Rob is the most efficient and kind electrician I have ever met. He did work for me at my apartment building, my parents house, my friend's house and of course my house. My Dad was an electrician so we swapped some stories of years ago. If you want the best electrician call, Rob, he is fair and honest. read more

The O'Keefe team (father and son) was terrific!. I had a few companies provide quotes, but even during that process they were far more personable and sincere in the way they approached everything. I had my electrical panel replaced and some diagnostics done on some bad outlets, which were also then replaced. They had a fair price, arrived on time, left no mess and completed the job in less time than they originally stated I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking a quality electrician. Even after the job was completed, and the invoice paid, Rob still responded to a question with very quick turn around. When the time comes for additional electrical work, I will definitely be using them again. read more

Was not a fan, We recently renovated our whole house and needed electrical throughout. They came over and walked through our house with us. I will say they were incredibly outgoing, understanding, knowledgeable and professional. We spent a solid 30/45 minutes with them going over the project and even chatted and BS'd a little bit afterward. At the end they asked us how much we thought this was going to cost (which I thought was a weird question). They seemed sincere when they said it wouldn't cost more than X amount. They also offered to do our HVAC work and we were told "we will beat any price"and we left feeling pretty good about everything. I had to call multiple times over 3 weeks to finally get a quote (I understand it can take a little while to get back to people with quotes, but he kept saying he would have it to me in a couple days and then a week would go bye and were ready to hire.) he finally gets back to me and the price is double what they said it would not be over... the HVAC work? Well, we got a better quote from Meyers brothers out of delmar and when we told him, he said... and I quote "well what's the deal? Am I just wasting my time with you guys, or what?" ... needless to say he did not beat their quote. We did not go with them. Seems like they do good work based off other reviews. So good for them. Just a bad experience here. read more

I called O'Keefe Electric today to assess two non working outlets. Rob arrived exactly as scheduled. He tested the outlets and found them working. He tightened the plugs and charged me a nominal fee. I will definitely use O'Keefe plumbing again if the need arises and recommend them them. I'm a very satisfied customer. read more

I am another happy customer. Rob from O'Keefe electric came to my house to fix my screened in porch light, and also install a new light outside my house. He was very: knowledgeable/skilled, honest, provided reasonable prices, personable, and on time. I am thrilled that I have my new go-to electrician! Trust is important to me when I hire people, and I trust Rob. I highly recommend this company. read more

O'Keefe electric is incredible. Not only is Rob the most capable and experienced electrician I have ever met, but he has associates that are also very knowledgeable and Rob goes above and beyond for any electrical problem. I had a very unique electrical problem at my house and Rob was there the entire time to coordinate with the cable and energy companies as our experienced advocate. He explains electrical problems in detail, runs many tests, and is passionate about his work. I will never look for another electrician. I recommend Rob without any reservations. (I have had him service my house for 6 years now). read more

I'm a life long Albany resident. I have used many electricians over the years. Some good, many not so good. I asked O'Keefe to come to my home to run electric for our new pool, as well as change out some lighting fixtures. They were so nice, they explained everything to me and gave me a great price. I have suggested them to many people I know who need the help of a good, honest electrician. Thanks again. read more

I used O'Keefe Electric for recessed lighting and they knocked it out of the park. Efficient, knowledgeable, beyond excellent! Fair pricing, too! Would highly, highly recommend!!! read more

I called them out of the blue with a request. They ended up being nearby and came over within 30 minutes. Up front with me about the pricing and they were fair. Very friendly and helpful, resolved my electrical problem and even helped me carry out my oven into the garage. I tried to tip them for helping me move it but they graciously declined the tip. I will definitely utilize them into the future. read more

Very courteous and professional. I just purchased a condo unit in a historic building, and both Rob O'Keefe and the other licensed electrician throughly understood the building and electrical needs. Would definitely recommend and call upon them when the need arises. read more

Such a great experience. On time, courteous, and did a great job! Super focused work as well. They also remembered being at my home with a 4 year gap between visits. Reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend their work. read more

Mr. O'Keefe just left our house after almost completely rewiring a bathroom, including installing and venting a bathroom fan. He was polite to my husband and me, very pleasant to our children and precise in his work. We are extremely happy -- so happy, in fact, that we immediately asked him to install a switch and new overhead light in a closet later this summer. I've never left a review on Yelp before but we wanted to be sure to recommend O'Keefe Electric. read more

Robert installed the electrical for our pool which was completed in November. Rob worked with the pool contractor to coordinate and installed a large service from our house to our garage to run the pool pump/filter. He was constantly looking out for us, trying to save us money. More importantly, Rob did an excellent job and his price was lower than the other three contractors we contacted. His work ethic is excellent and his skills are better than anyone I have hired. In addition, he is a really nice guy! read more
