Got a prompt call, but we ended up getting the needed help from a mobile MDOT safety truck. Was just an empty gas tank and a faulty gas gauge. Three gallons of gas and we were on our way before the tow truck could arrive. "Whew" They were very understanding and cancelled the call, but glad to hear we were safe. I give them credit, they were willing to help out on a Sunday night to get us to safety. The one down side was they could have only taken one of the three of us in the tow truck. The stated regular rate was $5/mile plus toll charges. Thats reasonable for a weekend, off hour call. I noted that Heads-up Recovery is NOT identified as a BBB Accredited Business. They are reported to have three trucks. The BBB Rating at time of review was: "C" due to "Failure to respond to 1 complaint(s) filed against the business." I'd say they are worth a try, and hope they can succeed. Towing cars can be a difficult business.

These issues were not there before the other shop replaced the lead frame. The original repair shop claimed transmission was shot and that I needed a rebuilt transmission for 5 grand. Mind you I am already into this over a grand On an 11 year old vehicle. I called several other transmission shops and they all recommended a rebuilt transmission including Ford Without even a test drive. I knew in my mind the issues had to do with the installation of the lead frame. I luckily stumbled upon B and B transmission. I told them about the hard shift and gear hunting after the other shop replaced the lead frame. Terry and Carl said to bring it and they would test drive it and diagnose the issue. I am happy to say they agreed with me that the issue was a repair not a replace situation and they removed the pan and discovered a seal had not been inserted properly . A few hours and 300 dollars later and I was rolling again. They could have taken the more profitable route and sold me a rebuilt unit but instead they did the right thing. Before bringing my 2001 Ford Expedition into Cole's I went to two other automotive shops due to…read morefailed emmisions. After spending over $1200 and two trips to different auto shops, the problem still wasnt fixed. I then went to Cole's praying I wouldnt have to put out unneccesary money and walk out with the same problem on my hands for a third time- well.. third times a charm! Cole's over exceeded my expectations and is now my familys number one go-to auto shop. From the moment I walked in the door until picking my truck when it was finished, I was kept in contact with and up to date on the progress. I was only charged $500 for the entire repair! She called this station and the person said to come on in. She was quickly tended to, and the vehicle was ready in a hurry. We live just a few blocks away and had never had a reason to use the service station, but will definitely keep it in mind for future needs. The price was reasonable, service was good, and they turned off the oil change light and TPMS light. As for the gas, I've only filled up a few times because the price is high. I understand, it's the city and land isn't cheap, but for me, I am usually looking for a lower price, so it's only been during an emergency that I've used the gas pumps. But, it's nice to have a gas station so close by in case it's needed, which it has been a few times.

Many drivers are pulled over and like eight other cars I pulled into BP to avoid having my windshield cracked, getting in an accident or worse. All of a sudden an angry man came from inside the building yelling, move! Out-out, get off the lot! Sir, not only are you mean and lacking compassion what I wanted to say is I need gas you careless person!
