I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki ($6.95 plus tax, $7.57 total) with lo mein noodles, cabbage, broccoli, white meat chicken, teriyaki sauce, grilled hot and fresh to order quickly. The portion of food received was a good amount for the price. The noodles were oily and had a slightly gummy texture. The entrée had a higher proportion of tender pieces of chicken than the veggies in the mix. The sodium was slightly higher than what I'm used to eating, but the chicken teriyaki was pretty good and filling.  The lady cooking my food asked me if I was Chinese and what part of China I come from. I told her I was originally from right here in New York State, as well as my old man too.

It's starting to look neglected. The chairs are very old and stained, and the dining area doesn't feel as clean as it should. There's also a section near the bar that's always filled with boxes and paperwork, making it look more like a storage area or office than part of the restaurant. It takes away from the overall dining experience. The bathrooms are another area that needs improvement--they often have a strong odor and don't appear to be well maintained. The restaurant gets very busy, especially on weekends, which shows how popular it is. That's why I think investing in some renovations and better upkeep would make a huge difference. The staff is generally okay, but they often make you feel a bit rushed during your meal. Overall, I still recommend Mr. Sushi because the food is excellent, but I hope the owners put the same level of care into the restaurant itself as they do into the food.
