Normally for great service, I would provide 4 stars. But I'll tell you why they got 5. So We have…read morea 5 year old fridge, with an ice maker from whirlpool. Anyone with an icemaker knows all about the problems that can occur. I called them a few weeks ago on a Friday with water leaking out of my ice maker side [explain to me why water was pooling out of the ice side please!?!?]. The tech came out with a trainee, and knew immediately what was wrong. They took apart the icemaker, took a photo of the issue, quoted the problem, checked stock and pricing on the part, explained how long it would take to get it in stock, and provided a solution on the spot. I ordered it and paid for the service. In a week they called to schedule the installation when the part came in. On the day of installation they called me early and asked if they could be the first call of the day and thankfully I was here, so I said okay. Here is where the FIVE stars come in. So a new tech came back with the trainee to install the part. But all of a sudden I look at my kitchen and see both techs on my floor with the bottom plate of my fridge off with the wire harness of my fridge out as well and I get called in. The trainee asked if he could explain something to me. Then he said she wanted to show him that they get a lot of calls on this particular model of whirlpool model because of the ice maker suddenly not working. It was because the wire harness gets pinched in the corner of the door [the lower left corner of the freezer door] and when she pointed mine out-sure enough the entire casing of my wiring was split open. So she ended up taping up my entire harness. Then she said to me and the trainee, "I always check for this problem when we are called in for this model because it ends up saving the client extra time money and problems in the long run so fix it now before it becomes an issue, you know before it breaks". She didn't have to do that! She didn't charge me for it, it was VERY kind of her, took them an extra 5 minutes of their time and it will save me hundreds in a service call down the road. And THAT deserves a 5th star people.

My refrigerator stopped working while we were camping so I called United Repair and was able to…read morespeak directly with Randy and he squeezed me into the schedule for the very next day. I was actually able to fix my refrigerator so I cancelled him coming out to the house and spoke with one of his office personnel who was very friendly and understanding. Randy even checked in with me a couple days later just to be sure my fridge was still working. I was so impressed with the level of customer service I received and I wasn't even a paying customer yet. It was obvious from the start Randy just wanted to be sure I had a working fridge. It had been an incredibly stressful situation (not to mention extremely gross) when my fridge thawed everything out because we weren't home for a week. Just calling United Repair made my day a little better not to mention I really felt like they actually cared and emphasized with my situation, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and look forward to working with them in the future.

We had our washer stop working called Lowe's warranty to have it repaired and they sent this…read morecompany out to fix it. I should have known what my experience was going to be like as soon as the vehicle pulled up. Two repair men pulled up, in the worst looking company vehicle I have ever seen. The two gentlemen looked like they just rolled out of bed, were not the friendliest. I explained to them what was going on with our washer and gave them the model number when I made the appointment. They did not have the parts on hand and it took them almost three weeks to get the part and reschedule the repair. I was out a clothes washer for almost 3 weeks. Come to find out we could've just ordered the part and swapped it out ourselves since it was exactly what we told them it was. Company vehicles and their employees represent the company so if they don't look presentable or act professional , then the company is probably not the greatest.
