Food is excellent - many vegetables and meats to choose from. Choose your own favorite sauces. Cooked on the grill and brought to you piping hot. Lilly, our waitress, was so efficient and speedy- offered us cake for free also. The restaurant was full but the only noises we heard were the men at the grill as they cooked other customers food. It was not a disturbing sound. This is one of our favorite spots to frequent. read more

Solid choice in Pineville. I get brought to some strange places by work folks. Sometimes when I'm in Cajun country they bring me to eat Mexican or a Chinese buffet. While Pineville is not really Cajun country, I was expecting a local favorite not Genghis. But damn I need to open my mind some. This place was great. Here's how it works. You go down the raw line, pick your protein l, veggies and sauce and hand it to a guy who cooks it on a giant flattop grill. It was damn good and damn reasonable. Better than expected for sure. If you're in Pineville, I recommend you stop and check it out. read more

Love the food! Service is good. Ambiance is okay. We always find excuses to go to Pineville so we can eat there. read more

Service is outstanding, food is high quality, great menu options, and cleanliness is tiptop.

This would be a good choice for someone who likes the Mongolian Grill experience, minus the buffet. That being said, it's about the same price that you would pay for the full buffet. That would be a downer for the person with the heartier appetite, because there is no going back to the bar for seconds. After you choose your choice of starch, then you make your way to the bar and fill a cereal bowl sized container with the ingredients that you would like in your stirfry. The ingredients are very fresh and there's an abundance of sauces and seasonings to choose from which the chef will be more than happy to prepare your meal. The restaurant is nice and comfortable. read more

The best place ever, always fresh and delicious! The udon noodles are my favorite but everything I have tried has been so good.

Genghis Mongolian Grill - I forgot what this is called, but they didn't put much sauce on it, but the Tony's made it all better. - Mongolian Near Me - Pineville, Louisiana

I love the fact that i know all of the ingredients in my food since i'm the one choosing everything. i have food allergies and you can get an allergy card so they can cook your food separate on the grill. Great food and great staff! read more

Good food and value for your money. You can top your bowl with as much meat as you can fit in for one flat rate, really can't complain with all the options they offer. read more

went to the Mongolian Grill over in Pineville last night. It was very well done. Basically they give you a bowl and you pick out type of rice or pasta. Then you take the bowl and go to a counter and you self serve what you want. They take the bowl and cook it and bring it to the table for you. Approximately 50 different items, including multiple types of meat. Then they had a good 10 or 15 sauces and other toppings. I'm honestly not a big fan of Chinese like food or hibachi style food, but this was well done. I honestly had no idea what to pick and put on there, but picking your own stuff always caters to yourself and the signs describing what was there, including the sauces, made it easy to understand and choose read more

We were just looking for something not fast food. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, the selection of ingredients for your build your own hibachi was great. It was my first time, but I'll be back. I'll try adding a few more veggies next time. read more

Genghis Mongolian Grill - My mixture of shrimp, veggies, lo mein and orange sauce. Delicious - Mongolian Near Me - Pineville, Louisiana

Great food. Most of the time I get food to go and they are always pleasant. Would certainly give it a try.

This place is so delicious! It's been a while since I'd gone to a Mongolian grill and I forgot how the procedure went , however the employees were very helpful with explaining the process. The ambiance was great also. You should give them a try. read more

4/25 another bust to our daughter in Pineville La-it is our go to place one of the days we are in the area. This visit as in the past was especially scrumptious. Selecting all of the ingredients from the bar is so much fun and the results this night was especially great. Noodles-chicken-veggies-cashews sauces and of course an egg they scramble. The results was spectacular as was the vibe. The idea of making these selections to meet you desired results is fantastic-service and affordability is just the trick. When we go home to LA we will definitely look to find our local version of this favorite go to place in Pineville La. if in the area you must try this favorite. Great time by all. Irwin Z read more

I love going to Genghis. You get to pick your choice of rice, noodles, or cabbage in your bowl. You fill it up to the top with your choice of meat and vegetables and then they cook it. It's always more than enough to eat, sometimes I get three meals out of the one bowl. They also have sushi and it is so good. Love this place! read more

The food and service was great, but disappointed at how most of the waitresses were dressed. Miniskirts and booty shorts. One looked like she didn't have pants at all. Wish the uniform was more professional since it's a family friendly place. read more

Yummy! Love that you pick exactly what goes in your dish! Servers are always available to assist you and keep your beverages filled! Nice comfortable atmosphere seating for dinner for two and accommodating for large group as well! read more

Really like this place! Love the build your own bowl. You pick which type of noodles or rice you want, whatever veggies, meat, sauces, and seasoning you want. They cook it up and bring it to your table. It's fun to change things up and try different combinations. They also take allergy precautions which is great for those of us with food allergies. read more

I took my two little nieces out for a girls day and We have never been here before. Italia was our server and she was very sweet and explained how you pick your base on the card and go to the bar and pick your vegetables and proteins. Then the cooks cook it for you! The girls loved it sooo much and they are very picky! They told me you HAVE to give her a 5 star review. Im very impressed and if you can impress them them without them eating chicken tenders then you really have blown me out the water! read more

Really great food. Friendly people. Nice setting. I love this place. Can't wait to go back.

So happy this place is now open! Located in the strip mall next to Burger King, so easy to get to. Has an upbeat vibe with music to match. I was happy with the fresh ingredients (love the jalepenos & bok choy!) as well as the sauce & seasoning choices. There are plenty of meat choices for the carnivores. For those with food allergies let them know and they can guide you on what to choose. At the entrance they have a board with several suggestions for building different kinds of bowls. As per usual, the dinner choices include more seafood than lunch, but that is to be expected. They will begin serving alcohol next month, so I can have a glass of wine before long. Will definitely be back! read more

Best LSU Rolls in town!!! The wings and crab rangoons are also really good. Very good customer service

I am a soldier of 20+ years and have traveled coast to coast. In my time of visiting many Mongolian style restaurants, Genghis is the BEST! They have a LARGE variety of proteins, veggies (yuck) and crazy delish sauces oh, and then spices! My first time I made a masterpiece and slurped up every last bit! You can pick your noodle style and type of rice. My meal was $15 for lunch, a tad pricey... but I would pay it gladly every time for what you get. I don't live here so sadly every mongo Grill will go downhill from here. Enjoy! read more

Great restaurant with a great selection of food to choose from! You go up in line and choose the raw meats and vegetables you want cooked, put it in a bowel and then choose your sauces and put those in their own individual "cup" and then give it to the cooks for them to cook it for you! There is a large selection of protein and other items you can choose from. It's super good I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the pineville area and if you're hesitant to try it don't be! Overall I rate it 4/5 read more

You get to make your own stir fry. So many ingredients to choose from and a variety of complimentary sauces. Great place. Casual.

Fresh ingredients, good portions, fast service, and awesome flavor. Very pleased. Will definitely visit next time I am in town.

Amazing food and very good service by everyone. My favorite restaurant! Best Green Dragon sushi roll ever!!

I had never eaten at a Mongolian type restaurant but was in Pineville visiting my brother & looking for something out of the ordinary for dinner. I pulled up my trusty Yelp app to find a restaurant with good reviews. We chose this restaurant based on the reviews although there were not many current reviews. Melanie met us at the entrance & I informed her this was our first time visiting this style of restaurant. She put us at ease informing us that she would show us what to do. She walked us through the process. It was so much fun choosing our meats, vegetables, sauces & seasonings. We had a bowl of soup which was really delicious while we waited for them to cook our bowls. Melanie was so sweet to visit with us while we waited on our food which was made fresh. We will definitely make this one of our stops when traveling thru Pineville in the future. If you haven't tried this place yet by all means you must give it a try. I'm now looking for a restaurant that I hope will be similar near Houston to hold us over until we can return to Pineville. read more

This is me and my son's favorite place to eat when we come this way or even to Alexandria

Delivered to me on post by Waitr. This was my first time eating here and the food was delicious! I got a chicken bowl with noodles and tons of veggies. The delivery was awesome too. My delivery lady was super sweet and quick. Best of all, I asked for the sauces on the side (I wasn't sure what they would taste like) and they sent the food with a nice hand written note. Nice personal touch. That..is customer service! read more

We wanted to try something new and found this place! We have ate at another place similar to this in Alexandria. But this place is so much better! Great selection to choice from. If you have never been, it can be overwhelming not knowing the seasonings to choose. I always do pepper and garlic salt and choice a sauce... They also have a Sushi side. I ordered the Rock and Roll... It was very yummy!! We will be back! A must try if you've never been! read more

This place was really tasty. They offer tons of options to load up in your bowl. Chicken, beef, shrimp, squid decisions decisions oh wait you can choose all of them. They also offer fresh vegetables, eight sauces, and even spices to add to your bowl. The biggest advice is don't be shy, put as much in the bowl you can to get the absolute best bang for your buck. read more

Went in here based on Yelp reviews. Glad I did! Had some sushi not the Mongolian Grill. It was a huge order of sushi and it came with Miso soup. It must be a great Mongolian Grill place though because I was the only one in the place that ordered sushi....the place was pretty busy and everyone got the grill stuff. Quite a bit of parking and the place was clean. read more

We came here because someone said "You gotta try it". Well we tried it and loved it. We read a couple reviews that weren't so great but we went anyway. 1 review said the people explained how to fix your meal and I was thinking how strange but still we went. When we got inside my mother-in-law told the waitress we had never been there so she had to explain how it all worked and she said "yes ma'am, of course" and started telling us how to fill out the rice or noodle card. Then you have to go up with your bowl and tray and put all your meats, veggies, sauces and seasonings in it. Then give it to the cook. When he is done the waitress brings you this huge bowl of food. And it's all $11.95 no matter how much stuff you put in the bowl. Then if you want you can bring the rest home. read more
