Lilly, our waitress, was so efficient and speedy- offered us cake for free also. The restaurant was full but the only noises we heard were the men at the grill as they cooked other customers food. Solid choice in Pineville…read more I get brought to some strange places by work folks. Sometimes when I'm in Cajun country they bring me to eat Mexican or a Chinese buffet. While Pineville is not really Cajun country, I was expecting a local favorite not Genghis. But damn I need to open my mind some. This place was great. Here's how it works. You go down the raw line, pick your protein l, veggies and sauce and hand it to a guy who cooks it on a giant flattop grill. It was damn good and damn reasonable. Better than expected for sure. If you're in Pineville, I recommend you stop and check it out.

It's located in a little strip mall near the Alexandria Mall. It's not much to look at from the outside, but don't let that fool you. Inside there's plenty of comfortable seating, and a variety of Asian cuisines. Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese dishes all can be found on their menu. This menu includes some depth! In addition to normal Vietnamese Spring Rolls, we also find Beef Summer Rolls (a nice change of pace). There's all the typical Phos, but you'll also find Udon Soups (and dishes). The Phnom Penh Soup is also a great choice. There are rice dishes and vermicelli bowls. The fried rices look great too! Those are always handy for the less adventurous diners in your party. The great thing about these dishes, is one can get a lighter healthier meal without sacrificing taste or quality! So, give this little local place a try for dine in or take out. You'll likely put it on your list of places to visit while in Alex!
