Chicken & waffles, cajun shrimp in phyllo cups, ham biscuits, a beautiful vegetable tray, deviled eggs, things like that. Just delicious. Writing this review is making me hungry! The third highlight was the reasonable cost. Even at a time when a lot of caterer's were raising their prices at the last minute, Hill's Catering was very reasonably priced, and they were very good about saying, "here's the less expensive option, or if you can spend a little more we could do this," etc. The last wonderful thing is Mrs. Nita Hill herself. I decided to eat from Proc's Kitchen. The family was very nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled beef ( comes with 2 hotdogs with chili)hotdog plate. The plates come with your choice of two sides. The sides were fries, mac and cheese, fried okra, baked beans and Cole slaw. My two sides were fries and mac and cheese. Expect there to be a little wait time because the food is prepared when you place your order. Every thing came out hot and was fresh. The hot dogs were delicious, the fries seasoned just right and crispy, the mac and cheese was "black people" mac and cheese(as one of my nieces' calls it). It had plenty of sharp cheddar cheese in it, not just melted on top seasoned just right with black pepper and other seasonings. I went back for a second helping of that. Several of my family member ate food from Proc's they all enjoyed their food as well. They are located in Spartanburg, but travel to other places. Trash disposal was also quick and easy--we simply tied up the bags and placed them in the designated spot behind the building. Parking during the event was smooth with no issues at all. Most importantly, the venue staff were beyond kind and helpful, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable! And a special shoutout to Laura, the owner--she is the absolute sweetest! We had a baby shower here and it was just gorgeous. There was an area outside where we set up cornhole and kicked a soccer ball around. There was a cute swing chair near the parking lot, and speaking with Mrs.Orndoff I learned there is a bridal cottage close by. Mr and Mrs Orndoff are amazing people and will take care of you! The Barn books very quickly, and rightfully so, it's a lovely place with beautiful just as beautiful as a vibe as it's view.
