I was told I needed to come in to set an appointment up. I did just that and the clinic said I needed to wait to have the appt set because they needed the doc to review my medical records (which there was only a pregnancy confirmation) I was told they would call me in 10-14 days with an appointment. They were informed I AM high risk, I had been having trouble finding a clinic to accept my CHAMPVA medical (they do accept) and I was mid/late term (24 weeks) I called 2 weeks after coming in, they claimed they had not gotten my medical records and it would be another week. I told Shay the nurse who answered that I was at the Health Dept when they faxed it over the SAME day I initially went in. I still have not heard ANYthing back from them. I am glad I did not wait for them to decide mine and my babies health was at risk. Otherwise I'd be singing a different tune with a lawsuit against them. You need to do better and stop telling people to be patient and to wait especially if you are not following through with what you say. I am now 30 weeks.. it's been SIX WEEKS since I was told '10 days' I will never recommend this office. They treated my teen daughter who was pregnant terrible 4 years ago as well. read more

I was a patient at Genesis Women's Center. When I called back today to get another appointment, they told me I would have to go in person to make an appointment, and they had moved. I went up in person to make an appointment although my medical insurance had not changed and they said I needed a referral now from my primary care doctor although I've been there before. This is ridiculous. I will look for another GYN doctor. They are not the only ones in this world.! read more

The staff at the this office is very inconsiderate to the health of their patients. They should not hold a postion in helping women in their most vulnerable times. They are very uncomforting and insensitive at a time when an extremely sick patient needs their help: As a womens center they should be more understanding that as women we are going through a thousand things at one time and when we dont feel good we are hard to be around.As a patient that just wants to feel better that is why we are going to a doctors not for the staff to get their own feelings and not completing their job duties with compassion. Made an appointment in early May for a yearly exam for July 28th. Received a text two weeks ago that my appointment would need to be rescheduled. New appointment was for July 19th. Received another text a week ago to have the appointment rescheduled. Made a THIRD appointment for July 20th. Received a THIRD text the day before to have that appointment changed. Now, they can't see me until October 3rd! RIDICULOUS! I need a prescription refilled. What kind of practice is this!?! read more

I made an appointment 2 months ago and went in today only to find out the doctor I was supposed to see is no longer with them and they couldn't see me. It really pissed me off because I took time off from work just to go to this appointment. I even called prior to my appointment to confirm the services I needed and they didn't say a word about it. They showed no remorse and didn't try to work it out so I could see someone else. The lady at the desk just kept saying they "left several messages" and she supposedly looked in their system and it said they called twice? I NEVER received a phone call, voicemail or email and they verified that they had the right contact info for me. I double checked as well. They lied! They wanted to reschedule but I will not go here! My daughter has been going to this clinic for the duration of her pregnancy and has "received" below par service. Her medical records are never reviewed prior to her visit therefore leaving it up to her to remind the provider of her latest labs, etc. She just had her 6 week post partum visit and left very upset. She had to asked to be examined to make sure she was healing properly as she is having issues. They did not have her delivery records so had no idea that she needed stitches nor that she had hemorrhaged after birth They didn't even realize that she had delivered her baby and was questioning whether or not this was her first visit since delivery. She still is not healed and has open wounds and was told to come back in two weeks. Call if she has issues. Why???? What care will you be willing to provider for her in two weeks that you have not provided already. Needless to say, she will not be going back! Unfortunately, I had to put a star! read more

Was having many medical issues at one time and was referred to Dr. Rojas from my last GYN. We, that settled it...I will always see Dr. Rojas as he is very concerned and actually listens to my case. A plan was made and I walked away feeling so comfortable with him as my treating GYN! By the way I have changed to Dr. Rojas permanently from my last GYN! Highly Recommend this office! read more

Dr. Rojas and his nurse Jenna are nothing but professional. I saw another gynecologist before I went to Genesis Womens Center. My mom referred me to him and he was able to figure out my symptoms and get rid of my pain. He completed laparoscopic surgery on me and I'm terrified of surgeries. He kept me at ease before my surgery. The surgery went smoothly and I healed quickly. When I had a question for him after surgery, he responded quickly even though we were dealing with hurricane Irma. My surgery was less than a week before Irma hit us. I have referred every one I know to him because I trust him with their care. read more

The staff that deals with the insurance are incompetent and rude. They have cancelled my appointment twice due to an imaginary issue. Funny enough, none of my other doctors have this issue. I have called the insurance company 3 times and they tell me they don't what in the world this doctors office is talking about! I am done with them! read more

I called the office to make a new patient appointment. They stated they only make new patient appointments AFTER you have come in to the office and fill out paperwork. Say what?! The other option is to print the online forms and fax them, and they will call you with an appointment time. So if you don't have a fax machine at home or don't want to drive to their office JUST to set up an appointment, they will not see you. I asked if I could fill out the forms online, and submit them online. They said they can't do that. Only fax or in person. They should just answer the phone and say "We don't want new patients". No thanks. This is the most ridiculous scheduling system I have ever heard of. NO THANKS read more

Poor office manangement, wouldn't go back. Scheduled my apt at least 1 month in advance, gave insurance info., etc. This apt was for my daughter, I took time off work and she was to be signed out of school early. Literally the day before my apt I got an email that you don't accept my insurance. Was told via email that "we've been trying to contact you", I went through all my message and didn't find any missed calls from you nor any emails. read more

Today was my 2nd visit to GWC. I understand sometimes you need to wait an additional 15 - 20 minutes when a Dr. is running behind, but I finally went up to the front desk after being there for nearly an hour to make sure I hadn't been forgotten and was told I needed to wait another 10 minutes. This didn't start things off well. I then was taken back to a dirty exam room where the used paper bedding was still on the exam table. The nurse did change that but left the paper pillow case that had clearly been used by the previous client on the table. I asked her to please change it too, she said she would but never did, so I just tossed it aside. She also asked me how to spell fatigue when I was listing my symptoms, would think a nurse would know this, I'm not quite even sure she knew what it meant. When I finally saw my Dr. she looked like she hadn't slept for a week, she was so tired and I felt guilty she was having to hear about my issues. She was very nice though. While I had my feet in the stirrups getting an exam 2 people tried to enter the room, which made me feel really uncomfortable, get some locks on the doors! One lady/nurse/whatever was yelling my name and had a piece of paper waving it into the room. The Dr. was literally in the middle of the internal exam and of course I was naked. The Dr. had to yell "I'm in the middle of an exam, leave the papers outside! No apology for the interruption (twice in less than 10 min) so I guess this happens often. Also, my deductible had been met, but I still had to pay because the financial dept. didn't call my ins. co. even after I had told them the deductible was met. I have had nothing but problems with this practice. They insisted I pay a copay even though I told them there was no copay for a bone density with my ins. I either had to pay or not have the test so I paid. It took me three months to get my money back because no one would talk to me or my ins. Looking for a new Doctor. I honestly wouldn't give them one star. read more

I used to love this practice of doctors and the attention you got from the office. Dr. Dryden who is awesome and Dr. Pottinger who did my surgery a couple of years ago were wonderful. But the last two years trying to make appointment, getting in, the customer service on the phone is HORRIBLE!!!! I rescheduled an appointment and they still had old appointment you wait forever trying to get in. Everyone looks like they are busy but they are not doing what they should be doing.
