However, the technician started with my left arm and made a very painful stab and after awhile pulled out the needle and but on the cotton etc. Then she started swabbing my arm again and I asked if she needed two specimens and she said the first was unsuccessful. I ask her to loosen the tape on the first try because it was hurting. She took it off. I gave her my other arm and I guess she was successful but it hurts, too. I expect them to be better than that.

Then they called me the very next morning and got me in the following Tuesday. I would say it's a very efficient office very organized. Everybody knows their role. The front desk, however, is the face of the office. Their demeanor and lack of politeness needs to be addressed or they need to pay a little more an hour to get quality employees upfront.

A week went by and I never heard from anyone? I decided to call Heartland to see if my records had been released yet. I was transferred to the records department which went to a recording. I left a detailed message and my phone number for them to call me back. I never received a return call? I called again to the new clinic and had them re-fax the signed form. I then called Heartland right away and got the recorded message again so I hung up and went directly to Heartland to have my records released to me. I filled out yet another form to have my records released. I had to fill out information that I had no idea what requesting. The receptionist offered no assistance. I had her look for the fax that was resent this morning to no avail. My doctor said we really needed to act on doing some tests for my condition. I sure hope that it's no big deal?

She…read morealways has time to answer questions and I never feel like she is in a rush to move on to the next patient. The down side of that is it is not too uncommon for her to be running late. I don't get angry about it, though, because I know the reason for that is that she will NOT rush ANY visit WITH ANY patient. Over the course of the day enough people think of additional questions that keeps her busy answering and she just runs behind. I would rather have to wait longer than normal and have her undivided attention for as long as I need it when I do see her. She has never failed to meet that expectation which is why we have been seeing her for over 20 years now I would say. Despite how many patients she might see over the course of a day/week/or month it never ceases to amaze me how she always remembers bits and pieces of what I do for a living and always asks about my wife. Keep in mind that I typically only see her maybe 2-3 times/year. She must have an excellent memory. We feel fortunate to have her as our primary care physician. By and large I would say that all the staff that I have ever dealt with were equally courteous and kind as Dr. Kumar is. I always feel like I am treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness.
