I was nervous about looking clueless, breaking something, or holding the class back. Kim met me exactly where I was. She clocked that I was still pretty new to the reformer, and gave me more hands-on guidance while the more experienced people in the room kept moving. Same as TYR: the teachers read the room and meet everyone where they are. She challenged me without ever making me feel feel behind or inexperienced. The studio is clean, smells great, heated but not brutal, and the teachers clearly know what they're doing. It's a different kind of sore than yoga/mat pilates. A great supplement to a regular yoga or sculpt practice. If you've been curious about pilates but scared of the machines, start here.

was really disappointed with my experience here. The studio advertises classes as "all levels," but…read moreas a beginner, I did not feel welcomed or accommodated at all. The instructor and staff came across as unfriendly and unapproachable from the moment I walked in. At one point, I was told, "and that's why you don't wear shorts to Pilates," which felt unnecessary and embarrassing rather than helpful or professional. There also doesn't seem to be a proper front desk or welcoming environment for new clients, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. If you are truly beginner-friendly, instructors should create a supportive atmosphere instead of making people feel judged for not already knowing studio expectations. Unfortunately, I left feeling discouraged rather than encouraged. I've had much better experiences at LUMIX, where the environment feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely inclusive for all levels.

This is the first time I've gone to a gym. Like ever. As a 32 year old man who has spent the last…read moreyear or so losing 135 lbs just by changing my diet. I decided to add exercise to my life to help lose more weight while maintaining my diet. Today I went to there for the first time. I only used the locker room, pool, and showers, so that's all I can comment on. First off, the pool was perfect. There were only a few guys using the hot tub, so I had the pool to myself. Swam 10 laps and called it good. The pool was clean, enough chlorine for me to know it was clean, but not SO MUCH that I thought I'd be sick. Went to the locker room and yes, there naked men (shocker) but in case you are reading this review and wondering if you would encounter a naked man in the male locker room, I figured I'd be honest. The locker room was pretty clean, they had recently mopped and all the benches were clear of debris. The first locker I opened had some powdery stuff in the bottom. Not powdery like drugs, but it looked more like someone me protein powder had spilled. I opened a second locker and it was spotless. The shower was a bit disappointing. They were private stalls with doors and even a little cubby area to put your soaps and what not. But no shower head. I wasn't expecting some 5 star resort quality shower head pry thing. But I also wasn't expecting just a pipe stilling out through the wall. The temperature was fine. Warm enough to call "hot water" but no where close to a "HOT" shower. And because it was just a pipe, imagine taking a shower with someone just holding a hose on 3/4 power above your head. Made it a little difficult to really wash the chlorine out of my hair and beard. That's it. Overall I'm happy that I found a place that I can go any time (especially before work) and get my exercise in. Showers could use an upgrade.

When I entered, there were four female and one male staff at the front desk. The four female staff were talking among each other. I asked the male staff for assistance. He made eye contact and asked if I needed help. Told him I signed up for the 3-Day Pass online. He asked one of the female staff to assist me. She took my ID and put a whole bunch of my information in the computer, then told me I don't qualify for the guest pass because I was a prior member. I informed her I was member over ten years ago. She told me I could sign up for a day pass for $25 or sign up for a discounted membership. Why would I sign up for a membership without trying this gym out, especially if it's my first time at this location? Asked her what information she put in the system to know I'm a prior member. She said she put in my name and birthday. She definitely put in more information than that in the system. Not sure if she really found me in the system or just wanted to take my information and denied me access. Not sure how honest the staff or company is. Didn't like being ignored, especially when there were so many staff in the front desk chit chatting. Did not feel welcome here at all.

Unfortunately, my experience today, September 12, 2026, was very different. At approximately 11:10 a.m., as I was leaving the gym, I noticed that the location had received a new scale. I approached the front desk, which was occupied by two staff members, Aaron, the supervisor, and a female employee. I asked the female employee if I could use the new scale. Rather than responding or attempting to assist me, she simply stared at me. Aaron then stepped in and informed me that the scale was not available for use. I then returned to the restroom to retrieve something I had forgotten in the locker. When I came back out, I approached the front desk again and asked Aaron about the intended functionality of the new scale. While I was speaking with Aaron, I noticed that the female employee was looking at me with what appeared to be a very unpleasant or disgusted facial expression. I asked her if there was a problem. She asked what I meant, and I explained that when I initially approached her about the scale, she did not attempt to assist me and instead looked at me in a manner that I perceived as unwelcoming. She responded, "That is my face." I told her that if that was the way she presented herself to customers, she should reconsider working there, since her position involves customer service. I then asked for her name, and she refused to provide it, stating that she did not have to give me her name. I subsequently asked Aaron whether company policy requires employees to wear a name badge and/or provide their name when requested by a customer. Aaron informed me that employees are not required to wear a name badge or provide their names upon request. This was a very unpleasant and unexpected experience, particularly because I have been a customer at this location for more than three years and have generally had positive experiences with the staff. I believe this employee could benefit from additional customer service and de-escalation training, particularly regarding how employees communicate with and respond to customers. I would also appreciate clarification from management regarding the policy: Are employees not required to wear a name badge and/or identify themselves by name when requested by a customer? Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns. I hope management will address this situation appropriately and ensure that all staff members maintain the level of professionalism and customer service expected at this location.
