They also do adjustment types I've never had done before like my shoulder joints, ears, fingers, and sinuses were needed. Their whole body knowledge is first class and I always leave their feelings so much better. Both doctors and their office staff are friendly, warm and caring. Their masseuses are first rate also. I always arrive on time (their reminder texts ask us to "please arrive on time"), but I'm being seen later and later, the more I come. I understand that seems to be the nature of the doctors office, and maybe even more so for chiropractors, but it's disrespectful. My time is valuable, and should be respected. My first couple appointments I was seen pretty much at the time of my appointment, but my wait seems to be getting longer and longer the more I come. They don't have weekend hours, so I leave work early in order to fight traffic and arrive on time. Today, I made an appointment at 9:30am on my vacation day. I arrived on time, and after 20 minutes of waiting was told (when I asked... no one even acknowledged I'd been waiting 20 minutes) that I'd be waiting 15 more minutes. Then I find out another gentleman was booked for a 9:30am appointment, so my time was at LEAST double-booked, if not more. When I said I needed to leave as I had other commitments, and that I thought 35 minutes late was a bit much, the woman was perfectly friendly, but there was not one mention of apology or that my time was valued, any acknowledgment that I was here on my vacation day, or any type of excuse for the lateness or double booking. Just a friendly, very chipper "Okay!!" and a refund of my payment (which is always taken immediately upon check-in... priorities, you know.) I expect to wait 10-15 minutes for an appointment - even though, really, that should be the exception not the rule, otherwise what is even the point of an APPOINTMENT - but 35 minutes or more, with no reasons or apologies, I won't tolerate. So it looks like I'm back to my search for a chiropractor.

But for a long time -- right up until we moved here -- I had a chiropractor up north who nailed the spot every time so I didn't have to come in very often, and this really kept me feeling good and mobile. Over the few months I saw him, Dr. Church could sometimes get it, but it would often not really "stick," so I'd be back in later the same day or the next. He was pretty friendly at first. But as it became clear his adjustments weren't helping me, he started subtly shaming me by talking about other "very big" people he'd worked on and how challenging it was. I might've started to just think being too overweight was making so a great chiropractor couldn't help me... except that my prior one helped me *every time* and she was a woman about 1/2 his size, so I know my size and potential issues around maneuvering a heavier body could NOT have been the problem. Aside from just wishing I hadn't moved and / or hadn't taken my prior chiro for granted because she made it seem so easy to help me, I just decided I didn't need to be made to feel bad about myself by this doctor who couldn't quite get the adjustment right, so I stopped going. So if you have regular 'non-tricky' back issues and are not very overweight, you'll probably do great here.

Which was no small feat considering I was hobbling in (assisted) when I arrived. Flare ups are troublesome but she works her magic once again and gets me feeling back to tiptop in minutes. (I have seen a few, and some were not so great.) Since day one Dr. Tyson always listens to me, no matter how much I complain about my neck pain & takes it seriously. He is very efficient, & seems to always be one step ahead with my treatment. Chiropractic treatment has helped me heal tremendously, although it isn't a magic quick fix with the right Chiropractor life definitely becomes more manageable faster than you can think. It's all a healing process but totally worth it. Another thing I have to point out is that every single time I come in, Kim is at the front desk with a smile on her face. It doesn't matter if she is busy, or with another patient she always acknowledges me & makes me feel very welcome there. I know they're probably tired of me by now hahaha but I really appreciate them & highly recommend them.
