I got about five bids for my whole-house remodel, and Creative Innovation Developers stood out for…read moretheir great communication and solid references. Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

So much so that we decided to hire him for the next project before the first had even finished. Armen was friendly, easy to communicate with, replied to messages in a timely manner, worked consistently, dedicated to the job, kept a very tidy and organized job site and I liked that he had so many great connections for other jobs that he doesn't do. For example we wanted new fencing and gates around our entire property and the company he recommended to us was great. The kitchen cabinet guy he recommended was great as well. Armen did a full remodel - new floors, baseboards, door casing, removed popcorn ceiling, new kitchens & bathrooms - tub, shower tile, floor tile, backsplash tile, sinks, faucets, countertops, new windows & doors, new lighting, paint and installed appliances. The finished quality of work was very nice as well. As someone who is a perfectionist and sees every. little. tiny. thing - I appreciated the level of attention to detail paid as well as the fact that anything I did notice and mention, would be corrected without issue. I also appreciated that he would let us know of anything he found such a termite damage and replaced the damaged wood and anything else wrong he found along the way. He also went above and beyond by helping us install a doorbell camera and a few other things after the job was finished. We would most definitely recommend Armen & his company Priority One - he's a super solid guy.

Irina is one of the hardest working, smartest, and most competent people we have ever met. She has a ton of experience in the LA area and we regularly ran into sellers' agents who were huge Irina fans or former mentees. She has developed an arsenal of strategies to set buyers apart in a fiercely competitive market; we absolutely would not have been able to get our house with a different agent. On top of all that, you get the Irina Team. From financing to inspections, she's put together a dream team of professionals. Everyone she recommended was amazing at what they do. Finally, Irina is a deeply empathic and kind person. She figured out what we were looking for long before we did. And even though she has extensive experience, she remembers how overwhelming things can be for a first time buyer. From start to finish she had only our best interests in her mind and protected us from multiple pitfalls and bad decisions. Irina and her team were recommended to us by family friends and we will be forever grateful to our friends for that. We hope we just did the same for you.

My husband and I had met with various real estate companies in the Pasadena area. We felt a bit shuffled around with the larger companies and didn't feel that they provided much of a personalized service. We weren't' expecting anything out of the ordinary but wanted more than what was readily available online through redfin, zillow, etc. I knew with confidence that Irina would be our realtor when she provided a lot of useful information even during our initial consultation. We learned a lot from her just by viewing the properties together. Her insight and experience guided our decisions on which properties to make offers on. She was able to strategize and present a very competitive offer to the sellers. Unfortunately, things did not work out for us and we agreed to put a pause on the home buying process. 5 years later, we decide to contact Irina and see where our luck/future/destiny takes us. A lot had changed within those few years. We wanted a bigger house in the suburbs and the market was more competitive with interest rates rising quickly. We knew that there wasn't much time to waste if we were serious about buying a home. We basically spent most of our free time searching and viewing properties. Multiple, competitive offers were made and we were outbid everytime. Irina would tell us not to worry because it would work out if it were meant to be...! Long story short, we found our home after a couple of months. It was in the neighborhood of our choice and a much bigger property than we had anticipated. Can I just say that I was more excited that we purchased it for much less than what it was listed for? :) We were on vacation in Japan for the last part of escrow and we kept in contact with Irina and her team. The entire process went much more smoothly than what I had expected. I'm going to list the top few reasons why you should choose Irina and her team when purchasing a home: -easily accessible via phone/email -responds very quickly and knows your concerns before you even need to express it to her. She will email you with updates about everything you ever need to know -her team will put together an amazing, competitive offer -provides great advice Thank you Irina and your team for our first home!! We are so grateful and blessed to have had an incredible team of amazing people working with us throughout the entire process.

We've interviewed a few home builders, checked out their work and reputation, and eventually decided to go with Gil, Oren, and the whole team of Go Home Builders. Working with the insurance was a pain, luckily Gil had experience working with Allstate insurance before, and he helped us a lot getting the money we needed to rebuild our home. The planning process took a bit longer than what we initially planned for. The county of LA took their sweet time approving our plans. Fortunately, after 2 sets of revisions we were fully approved. The construction wasn't bad at all, they had plenty of guys working on our home at the same time. The only time there was no work, was on inspection days. The finishes was one thing that was extremely important for us. My wife and I are detail oriented and wanted to make sure we're choosing the right company to do the finish work correctly. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations. Overall the beginning of the process was extremely emotional challenging, but the whole team of Go Home Builders made us feel like we're not alone. My wife and I are very grateful for them. I'd highly recommend.

We interviewed multiple…read morecompanies and went with GHB since they seemed the most design-forward and client-friendly of the bunch, and gave us a reasonable quote too. I had a rough vision in mind for fitting a lot into a relatively small space, but wanted to see the options rendered so I could better make the big layout and design decisions. Alexis was very patient and super helpful in mocking up each iteration until we locked in the final design. Once it was time to actually break ground, Gil, Oren, Uriel, and the rest of the team were really responsive and always available by text. Unlike previous contractors we've worked with, they usually gave us an idea of what was happening the next day/week and who to expect onsite. The first ~70% of the project went really smoothly and far exceeded my expectations. Demo, framing, rough plumbing, and electrical all largely went without a hitch. We ran into some problems towards the end around communication, timeline, and subcontractor oversight -- which led to more delays when someone punctured our new in-wall toilet tank and flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. We know every construction job runs into challenges so we weren't bent out of shape by it, and we did appreciate that GHB took full responsibility for fixing the issues. By and large we were really impressed by most of their subcontractors, especially the very professional and considerate plumbing, electrical, and tiling teams! After living with our new bathroom for a while now, we can definitely say it was worth the wait, and such a huge improvement over our previous dysfunctional layout. Thanks to GHB for their great service, amazing attitude, attention to detail, and for bringing the bright, colorful bathroom of my dreams to life!

Dwell is synonymous with quality, dedication, and client satisfaction. I have no hesitation highly…read morerecommending. Before contracting with Dwell for a full home, down-to-the-studs reno of a 50-yr old Pasadena home, I'd fired two general contractors: The first was a luxury, longstanding (30 yr) Pasadena firm that was simply too doctrinaire, languid, and non-responsive in their approach; the second was the opposite: too green, easily overwhelmed, and quickly passive aggressive and combative in communications to the point I was uneasy handing over the keys to demo and reno my home. I reset, cast a wide net for new prospects and interviewed 11 firms, all while recognizing that perhaps my expectations were too high and I was part of the problem. Gio confidently asserted that I *should* have high expectations, as it was my home that I was renovating. Fast forward, and the end product is phenomenal, surpassing my expectations without a single regret. A few notes: 1. Client dedication: Dwell and its full team (Gio, my phenomenal project manager Michael, Santiago, and the office team) all never gave a doubt that their focus is on doing the job right; i.e. in a manner that the client and the Dwell team would both share pride in. I'd be remiss if I didn't say Gio and Michael demonstrated a strong ability and interest in understanding the client's vision and truly wanting to bring it to fruition (far beyond simply delivering a product and moving onto the next project, as you risk coming across among other GCs). 2. Productive subs: Dwell knows its subcontractors well and they are each true craftsmen. Each was professional and courteous, regularly going beyond my expectations before I'd even seen their work product for the first time (e.g., more electrical outlets than I'd imagined from electrical sub, the kindest gentleman focused on getting the cabinetry and wood finishes "just right," a foundation and framing sub with steady-handed focus and easy client rapport...). Routinely, Dwell got quick responsiveness from subs, including when I'd mistakenly given the wrong delivery date for pricey patio doors (long story short: I realized my error at 6:30pm the night before and Michael and team very serenely hustled and were able to get their installers onsite the next morning to receive and install $20k patio doors; done with professional realism that it wasn't guaranteed yet effort to ensure the safety and secure install). 3. Realistic, predictable pricing: Gio tries to price projects right from the outset to do the job well. Plenty of contractors will lowball with a likely intent to add endless change orders or limit what is delivered. Dwell, in my experience, priced the project to do it well from the start and minimize any surprises or impediments that would limit them from doing the job they believe you actually want, regardless of what other contractors may tell you. 4. Respectful: There was not a single moment of tension or confusion. Michael, Gio, and team communicated incredibly effectively, even when your day job limits attentiveness or creates time demands. They more than understand and give advance heads up of items coming up for you to weigh in on, or suggestions to make the project go smoothly if you're time-constrained. 5. Humor: I'd moved from New York and was blunt at the outset that I didn't need to be best friends with a contractor, but I do expect basic courteousness and professionalism; they easily brushed past my concerns and regularly had me laughing. Doing a full home reno takes up a lot of mental space even when it goes well; to not be stressed but actually laughing through it is priceless. [As a post-script, I should mention that the reno was completed and I moved back into the place 2 weeks prior to the January 2025 Eaton Fire that ravaged Altadena and came within 4 blocks to my place before miraculously dissipating, sparing my block and the house. The care and concern that Gio, Michael, and team demonstrated despite the project having already been completed far exceeded what I could've imagined. This is a team that cares.] Big cheers to Dwell--Gio, Michael, and team: they have built a unique team culture in a tough business where it is easy for clients to be trepidatious and cautious. He gave us a lot of ideas that showed he's been doing this a long time, and it honestly made it easier to trust the whole process from the start. After that, spent time at the office going over everything in detail. The full walk through helped a lot because nothing felt vague or rushed. It was clear how the design would turn into real work, step by step. Questions were answered as they came up, and things were explained in a way that actually made sense. Once things got going, communication stayed solid. Gili and Michael were both easy to reach and stayed involved the whole time. Updates came regularly, and if something needed to change or be adjusted, it was talked through without any attitude or stress. The office team was also really helpful and kept everything moving smoothly in the background. Overall, the whole experience felt organized but still very human. Things weren't perfect every single day, but that's normal with a project like this. What mattered was that people followed through, kept communication open, and delivered what was promised. End result came out great and matched what was discussed from the beginning.
