I'm sticking with my 5-star rating, because although i would like more amenities, Dragon Massage Spa does do the best with what is available. Here are 3 more technicians of note: Lili - Her delicate name belies her physical strength. I was having a particularly bad day with my neck and back issues, so i booked a 90-min. Lili worked and worked with her hands and elbows. Finally, she had me sit on the end of the table, reach back so we could clasp wrists, allowing her the leverage to stretch my back with her feet. No chiropractor has ever given me a release like that! And that was after expert manipulation of my fingers and toes. Vicki - on the subject of feet. I was needing a little adjustment mid-week. Seeing that Vicki was so tiny, I did not expect much pressure. Surprise! I never noticed the handrails on the ceiling before. It's been a couple of decades since I've been treadled by a professional. That got my back, shoulders and upper thighs loosened quickly and thoroughly. Then she had plenty of time to work on a kink I had on the front. With a bit of tinkering, she had it unlocked and the rest was smooth sailing. Finally, Yu-yu (please forgive me if I likely spelled it wrong) - Late morning and I was able to get in with only 10-min notice. Hadn't planned my day for a massage, but on the road early and thinking about it for hours had me filling with anticipation. My neck is always an issue and Yu-yu did very well relaxing those muscles. From there she was excellent at maneuvering from area to area. I really appreciated how her touch became light, partly as a signal that we would be moving on to the front. It only took a little more strength work and the built up stress of the day had been thoroughly expelled. Hot towels and fingertip pressure on my scalp and temples had me struggling not to doze off. Would that be rude or complimentary? It took me 3 years to find the right barber when we moved here. I don't know if I can commit to just one masseuse with so much talent on hand.

I don't know how many work there but it doesn't matter, I have received the best massages of my life from her! That is not a statement made lightly. You don't have to tell her anything, she feels it. I get knots in my back around the shoulder blades, she works them tirelessly. I know the more pain she puts me in, the better my back feels for the next 2 weeks. 15 minutes into my very first 60 minute massage I stopped her and asked how much an additional 30 minutes was and changed in mid stream to a 90 minute appointment. Worth every penny and then some. When you walk in, the place has a smell... For those who visit other massage spas you may not recognize it but it's the smell of clean, very impressive! You are greeted by a little water fall and plants in the lobby, they take your temp and you have to wear a mask (the reality of the new world in which we live) and are escorted back to what I call the "Hoodini Room" because that is where all the magic happens. She told me about this great inexpensive massage guy that did wonders for her feet. I felt so bad that I just wanted to go home, take some pain medications, and crawl into bed. That's when she told me I didn't have anymore excuses because Nova Massage Therapy will only come to my house. I gave in and after dinner gave them a call. The owner, Sam Kline, picked up, gave me the rates, told me they only take cash / or paypal, and within one hour was at my home. I was a little nervous having a total stranger come to my house. I live in the country, I have a lot of animals, in a really small place, and not a whole lot of room. I made sure to tell him that I have many skin allergies and he would have to bring unscented products with him. First good sign upon his arrival was that my dogs liked him, LOL! We sat down in the living room, talked for a while, and he gave me some forms to fill out. A short medical history, more information about my allergies, specifics about my painful areas, and I was impressed at how thorough it was. Usually when I get a massage at the nail place down the road they don't ask a lot of questions and barely understand what I'm saying. Sam asked to be shown what room to set up in so he could get everything ready while I filled out the forms. After he sat down with me to review the forms and asked me what kind of massage I was looking for. That's when I found out he was also a Reiki Master and would do energy work on me. We walked into my bedroom and he had set up a massage table in the middle of the room. I was impressed with the electrical candles which means no triggering my allergies for me. The candles were a wonderful touch along with the meditation music playing on his CD player. We did have to remove three cats from the set up massage table but Sam was humored by it. He left the room, asked me to undress to my level of comfort, and asked me to lay on the table, under the sheet, and facing up. During the beginning of the massage Sam quickly realized that just lifting my arms caused me so much pain it caused me to cry. He stopped the massage, put his hands under my neck, and then I felt something I've never felt before. It was like waves of energy were pulsing out of his hands, into my head, and down my spine. It was like being lightly shocked by electricity, but not in a bad way, and continuously for 10 minutes. When he finished he lifted my arm and my pain was reduced by half. I am a true believer in the power of Reiki now! He massaged my shoulders while I was laying face up which I haven't had done before. It just seemed like the muscles were being hit better then massages I got face down. At one point he hit a tender spot on my back and by massaging it all the pain drained out of my left hand. He eventually asked me to flip over and the sheet was big enough to avoid exposing myself. I have bad feet and hands also due to injury which were wonderfully massaged. He didn't miss a single spot and spent extra time on the sore places indicated on my intake form. Sam was professional, friendly, good to my animals, respectful of my home, and arrived on time. The massage was 90 minutes, cost me $100, and made me realize that there are big differences in the quality of Massage people. I've been getting massage at a corner beauty salon when I should have been getting it from a professional massage therapist / Reiki Master all along. Normally it takes about two days for the pain to return but afterwards no pain returned and I've even gone back to working out!
