Quick good service I would recomend this location. Also GP 2000 and Mason Select Exterior Paint are great products.

Easy to peruse and select colors. Big displays of all the latest painting supplies that include anything you might need for your paint project. Lots of inspirational pamphlets with photos to prompt possibilities for your color transformations. Very knowledgeable staff offers good advice on any paint project. I selected a color and they prepared a half-pint sample so I can paint it on my wall to see how it looks!

The biggest fear was picking the "right" colors. There are just too many colors to choose from. Also, most people, like me, do not know how different colors work (intuitively or theoretically). So, I just didn't know where to begin! That said, I walked in here without knowing ANYTHING (other than wanting to repaint the exterior). Casey was amazing. She listened to me carefully (although I was not very much of help as I didn't know what I wanted myself). She picked out a couple of brochures and directed me to this very useful binder "Color Inspiration and Ideas," which shows you common color combinations (see my photos). They have a very spacious showroom. I just sat there and went through the binder, picking out combinations I liked and excluding ones I didn't like. While I was studying the binder, she checked on me a couple times but she gave me the "space" I needed. She also directed me to the Benjamin Moore website to try out the color combinations I liked online. This is an amazing tool. You can upload a picture of your house and try out different colors on your house (and it's free)! After trying out many different combinations of colors online, I came in here again to look at the colors I liked. I was able to pick up some paint swatches to bring home. The lady who helped me was very pleasant and was able to find the colors I wanted quickly. I'd thought I would need Photoshop to "virtually" paint my house to see how it would look, but, thanks to Casey, I was able to do it for free on the Benjamin Moore webpage ("Personal Color Viewer"). So far, this potentially scary project has been very pleasant. In fact, I have learned a lot thanks to Stockton's Paint!

CLOVERDALE PAINT #12-970 westwood street, coquitlam, BC v3c 3l4…read more I use several paint stores in the tri city area but this location is certainly the closest- being only two minutes down the hill from ranch park...It is accessible from either end of westwood street, but probably a more prudent route to take is via Dewdney trunk because if traffic is stopped dead from a train crossing the tracks, at least one can get access into the parking lot...The staff can quickly mix up whatever paint or stain one needs and the store has ample supplies on hand. They have accurately matched paint for me from samples with no codes on several occasions and this time was no different. This particular shade was from a miss tint can I've had for ten years. It is a sort of pale cucumber green. It's a very fresh, soothing and at the same time energizing colour perfectly suited for a bedroom, family room or office/ work area. It is NOT a yellow or sallow colour by any means. I am using this colour in our kitchen, the smaller of two dining rooms, the smaller of two family rooms and in a bedroom downstairs for our new 13 year old Korean ESL student now living with us while attending All Saints parish catholic school full time up the hill...This shade goes with whitewashed, ebony brown, grey or even orange red stained furniture or flooring. Previously, we had far too dark of a mauve/ burgundy tone on those walls and in spite of there being large banks of windows on two walls in the area, it simply felt way too dim and dark. Perhaps being in the rear and away from the front southern exposure didn't help either...This colour perfectly frames all the lush green shrubs and trees in the backyard and warms the room up from the increasingly dreary, grey, rain filled skies we see in abundance in typical fall and winter west coast weather. This colour works for me, and apparently with my aunty joan, who is going to use it in her bedroom back in Calgary...If you squint real hard, it almost transports you back to those art deco ice cream coloured Miami streets a la Michael Mann's TV show Miami Vice from the 80's...minus the Ferrari and the go fast boats. PS don't forget the miss tint section...

After going through a nightmare of a fire that destroyed our home, and after dealing with the crooked and incompetent painter from hell which deals with another Bad -enjamin Moore dealer which I won't mention-Donna and her team really went to bat for me. This idiot painter which I will call Lug, used dirty trays and dirty brushes to paint my suite. When he was finished he always left the blinds closed so I would not notice the streaking left behind on the walls by the dirty trays and brushes he was using. The fellow that hung my closet doors from Windsor Plywood noticed how bad it was, especially in the closets, and pointed it out to me. I called Lug and he told me that sometimes it is an issue with the Benjamin Moore Natura paint. I spoke with Donna and Alex from the Lansdowne store and they assured me that this is def not the case--there are no such issues with this paint. They recommended a truly good and honest painter , gave me a terrific discount to buy more paint to fix the mess the Lug ass left behind and Donna was even so kind as to give me a free can because her heart went out to me because of everything I have had to endure with less than honest people.(Lug even stole a few cans of primer from me and made me order more saying it wasn't enough--it did not end with this guy, he even tried to steal a ladder from out of my suite and then tried to blame the flooring guy-a piece of work this Lug is) I was so moved by her kindness, that it is not always about profit and that she extended this kindness toward me. I will never forget and from now on I will only purchase my paints and supplies from her store, will only go with a painter she recommends (she has integrity and only deals with people of integrity as well). I highly recommend Donna's Benjamin Moore store on Lansdowne Drive in Coquitlam--an honest and ethical businessperson is wonderful to find. With all my heart, again, thank you Donna--and Alex.
