Most people give very little thought about how patients get to a particular hospital. Most simply come through the Emergency Room or quite literally through the front door. But what happens if you say are too sick for that option, or the hospital in your area lacks the specialty services or surgery options that is quite literally the difference between life and death? That is where a company like CALSTAR comes in. They help get you from wherever you are to hospital that can provide that definitive care. While CALSTAR has its own teams sometimes like in our case you need a team that specializes in a particular field or area. As we are based at a Children's Hospital we specialize in yep you guessed it pediatrics. So when we have to cover vast distances we use companies like CALSTAR. I have flown with them numerous times and they are some of the most professional and competent vendors we utilize. The crews bend over backwards to accommodate our specialized needs and more importantly the needs of our patients. The reality is as a patient you most likely wont get to chose who you fly with but rest assured they are among the best
