However, going to Fortune Teller, it is clear that everyone there loves what they do. Upon walking in, I was greeted by one of the artists who was incredibly nice and checked me in while I waited for Doug to finish up. The establishment is incredibly clean and spacious. If you are looking for a new tattoo, I highly suggest Doug. He cares about the work that he does, and his artistry is amazing. He also is personable and makes the experience of getting a tattoo enjoyable and eases your mind. I would definitely come back to Fortune Teller in the future.

Jane is the owner of this tiny tattoo parlor on the third floor of the building that abuts the State Theater. I never knew this place existed and was delighted by the surprises in the building! The tattoo parlor itself is clean and easy to find, with lots of character. Making an appointment was easy and they are super responsive. I already knew what I wanted so I sent a scan and they had no issues helping me with my permanent art. They were super kind and answered all of my gajillion questions. I didn't do a great job at my pre-arrival home work but she was lenient on my because of the size of my tat. Highly recommend if you're looking for a local group of artists you want to support!

He creates something out of the pile of ideas I send him and never disappoints. He curates a welcoming and relaxing environment and doesn't fail to keep his hand relatively light and the experience short. It's all your own preference, but I never feel as though I am alone through the process, he has the ability to make conversation with a wall or just be the wall. I have first-hand seen him interact with unexpected costumers and been touched by how he can kindly answer questions that might seem obvious to others. I can't wait to work with him again. I originally went to Coopa Creations to get a tragus piercing. The girl did an amazing job and it was an awesome time. It's been about a week since then and I have had no complications. Earlier this morning the front ball of the piercing fell off and was nowhere to be found. The girl at Coopa is only there on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I live close to good and evil so I stopped in to see if they had a replacement and could fix it for me. There was only two people there, and one of them was working on a tattoo. The other was not doing anything, and when I said what I needed he seemed like he did not want to do it and asked the other guy to. The guy tattooing said he was busy and he would appreciate it if he could do it. I took a seat and waited ten minutes for him to set up a room. I understand I was a walk in appointment, but he went out to smoke and was talking to people. It almost seemed like he was procrastinating seeing me. He finally came in and reeked of cannabis. He was looking at it and tried on the ball, in which it did not fit. He then did this three more times. He kept trying different piercings in which nothing would fit. He said he knew what he needed but could not find it. He got so frustrated that he was shouting fuck repeatedly. He then yelled for the guy who was tattooing and said he could not find the piece he needed. The other guy stood up from where he was working, grabbed the right piece and gave it to him immediately. The guy still seemed frustrated and angry. He was shaking when trying to put the ball back on. He was pulling at the piercing aggressively trying to maneuver my ear, knowing I told him it was a fresh piercing. I had tears in my eyes when he finally got it. He did not treat me like a person. It was so painful and that thought never crossed his mind. The other guy tattooing apologized for his anger and didn't make me pay for the jewelry ball replacement. I am now writing this a couple hours later, and my piercing that had no complications prior is now swollen, throbbing, and bleeding non-stop. An easy fix was extremely complicated and handled unprofessionally. I wouldn't recommend anything about this place. I just felt so uncomfortable the whole time and now I am suffering the consequences of someone's carelessness. I am sorry again, I know reviews can harm businesses but I think people should know this about the staff of this place before going in for a body modification.
