There is a huge slide where you have to either climb up rocks to get to the top or go up a huge set of stairs - very mountain climber-ish, but safe. They even have some play equipment that makes musical sounds. The ground is that rubbery surface that has some bounce to it. There's an area with small tables and it's covered, so there's always a little shade to be found. In the summer they have a splash pad fountain area. There's also a sports field at the park - a soccer/la cross field. I want to say it's turf, but not 100% sure. There are two parking lots and street parking for overflow.

I couldn't see anything but a blur of wood chips and the only thing I could hear was laughing little boys. I called out to my oldest, "Can you help slow down mom??" More laughing. I got bigger- I spun faster. I got smaller- I spun faster. After about a minute of trying to slow down with no avail I decided the only way out was to just thrust my body on to the ground and hope for the best. Luckily I still had enough equilibrium to find my way to about my hands and knees. I landed with a thud. I tried to look to see where my children were at, but the park around me was spinning so fast. My head was pounding. Still on my hands and knees, I threw up all over the wood chips. "Mommy are you ok?" All I could respond with was "ughhhh". Could I have caused a hemorrhagic stroke? Could I call 911 this disoriented? Eventually the world stopped spinning and I did what any good mom would do, "That was so fun! Do you guys want a turn?". Most pukey I've been at a park since Merry-Go-Rounds were a thing in 1993.

We got there late but still got a great spot to put our chairs to watch all the bands playing, front & center on the 3rd level. There were over 20 Colorado breweries pouring fantastic brews and several local food trucks. The bands were jamming all evening late into the night. It ended with a great Rock n Roll band and great pours from several breweries. Great area, atmosphere, space & vibes.

There are wood chips under the play structures so you need to keep that in mind when deciding which shoes to have the kids wear. There is plenty of green space to throw a ball or play tag. Plenty of parking. We'll definitely be back since this park is located not far from my son's house in The Meadows. Thank you to the City of Castlerock for keeping this park clean.

My 5 year old grandson is a dedicated basketball player and enjoyed the shooting hoops and moved on to the playground equipment. He gave the thumbs up for the facility and if he's happy grandpa is happy.

Found this park online for the playground and was so happy we decided to go out on a warm sunny…read moreday. The playground is so nice and the park was very clean. We went early on a Saturday around 10am and it wasn't busy. We stayed for a while bc the kids loved it. 4, 5 & even our 14 year old. We ended up leaving around 11:30 bc it got crowded and not very many people wearing masks. We will definitely be back again.

He saw the granite slabs across the creek so we walked on the to the other side. How fun! The steps up are taller than my short legs :) but I made it. The stalls were arranged in the park and we wandered down them. So many things to look at. Some talented people and cool food items. Peanuts cooked right in their shells, hot sauces, cookies and meat products. Great stocking stuffer and gift ideas. Jewelry and clothing items, household decor and music. Everyone was so nice and I even got to meet someone I follow on instagram and try her cookies. I enjoy this park and discover new things when I come. This time it was a little library. I love those as I like borrowing a book and bringing one to give.
