They had a huge parking lot with plenty of parking but lots of people out there yelling and kind of aggressive. Inside it was a mix of younger people and older, nice to have a variety. To get into the "club" part was crazy. $50 cover charge just to get in and see an old nobody DJ. This is Malden, not a nice club in Boston that is worth that price tag. Absolutely crazy.

Are you kidding me!!!! The nightclub wasn't open and ALL the tables outside had reserved signs. We went into the bar area and no one came to our table for service. We left and went to a place down the street with a great band and no cover. So basically I threw away $64. What a dump. Don't go to this rip off place.

Yes the venue is art deco period 1948 but sound system and acoustics (upgraded) were great, though the guy navigating the spotlight was off , the stage lighting in general was good. Yes the occasional person musically inspired, does stand and yes folks on bathroom breaks and fetching drinks, but overall it felt like a nice atmosphere in a nice small town. There was no seats at the bar and some "reserved" tables & chairs. The drink selection, not too much of a selection. The drinks are very pricey and come in small plastic water cup. No one's ever been here before? Am I breaking new grounds? Weird…read more I went here for the Somegirls/Converge concert a while back, and I'll have to admit that it was really weird. The venue size is around the Middle East Downstairs, maybe a smidge bigger, much better air circulation, and so on. The club's decor is pretty low key (black and yellow lights), so don't be thinking there's mariachi's or Puerto Rican booty dancers hiding in the walls because it's primarily a Latin club.... So why three stars? It's in the middle of nowhere (woo, taking the blue line all the way to the end), they can't decide what time to put bands on, and the bathrooms are too small for the venu's size, honestly. But other than that, as a venu it's pretty cool. Big wide stage, decent sound system, and okay people working the bar. Helpful hint: If you're going to see a show here, it's NOT GOING TO SELL OUT, so you can skip the shitty opening bands. Seriously, it's that big. If the band you're going to see can only book Lido, make sure you get the set times, but you're going to be stuck on the Blue line. If I see another show that interests me, I'll try to check it out. I have no idea how they go from hardcore shows to Latin dance clubs, but hey, what can I say?

Toddies are six bucks and come in a plastic cup and (sometimes) served with Cheetos Puffs a la carte. Nice touch. The pool table is severely drink-stained and trashed (see PICS). Everything here is janky and dilapidated at Sammy's and I dig it. I took my One, Moey, here in the middle of the day and it was empty sans a couple of regulars who proved to be friendly AF and we ended up "conversating" and hanging. Sammy's proudly just celebrated its 70th birthday and the wicked cool bartender lady gave Moey and me two Woo Woos au gratis in honor of celebration. Can't beat free toddies, bro, aye? She made wicked good drinks and loved to chat. The patio area is like a prison yard -concrete and a chain-link fence and devoid of anything aesthetic whatsoever. But hey, that's OK. Sammy's has a nice beach view from inside the bar and the patio has a view of lots of depressing stuff out back. Come to Sammy's, YELPers, during the day for a mellow time and some good hanging. Peep it... Cash only, bro.

I confirmed the discrepancy by comparing my copy of the receipt with the charge that was processed. This is a serious issue because customers should be able to trust that the amount they authorize will be charged accurately. I contacted the restaurant to address the situation and hope it was an honest mistake, but this experience has significantly affected my confidence in doing business here.
