Dr. Lam is incredibly patient and always takes her time to help understand the issue at hand. She clearly cares about her clients, and it shows when she follows up diligently to check on our pup. All of the staff have been nothing but incredibly kind to me and my dog at every visit. My only complaint is that appointments never seem to happen on time, I'll end up waiting 25 minutes + sometimes. I'm not sure if this is expected for all vets but now I make appointments only when I can spare at least 2 hours. HOWEVER, the clinic is very quick to respond to emails and calls which makes my life a lot easier. I don't plan on switching vets anytime soon and I'll definitely recommend Miliken Bridlewood to my pet owner friends as well.

We used to see Dr. Lee and Dr. Won but they left the clinic a while ago so now we see Dr. Lam. We have many friends that also bring their dogs here and they too have been experiencing less than stellar service (a doctor forgot to remove the stitches from her dog after her surgery). Dr. Lam is very patient and listens and ask questions. She explains everything very clearly and does a run through with what was discussed at the end of the appointment which is very refreshing. Unfortunately, she doesn't come into the appointment with a background of the pets and shuffles through the dog's chart at the beginning of the appointment but we still really like her because she's thorough. The receptionist, Hazel, is a new (our first time meeting her) hire that seems to get flustered easily. We always paid for our dogs separately (sister pays for one and I pay for two) but when we asked her, she became very upset. We apologized and informed her that we always did it this way. She kissed her teeth and said she will see what she can do. The total was $1463.60 for all three dogs so she charged my sister $431.74 leaving me to pay $1031.86 but it didn't make sense because we knew each dog costs $431.74. We informed her that she didn't charge tax for the first dog and she got angry. We asked her why would I pay for someone else's taxes and she just rolled her eyes and angrily corrected her mistake. There was many other bumps with the receptionist during our visit that day (giving us the wrong dosage for our dog, rolling her eyes when we gave her our dog's stool sample, etc.). I noticed that this clinic is pricier than others as well and have considered switching clinics but have yet to find a decent one.

I signed my husky up for a 5 days boarding with CaptainK9 and the care Kevin put in for my dog made me feel at ease to know that my dog is in the hands of a trained professional with keen eyes, and a big field for him to roam around and have play time interactions with other dogs. Kevin even sent me a video clip of my dog interacting with other boarding dogs. I could have signed my dog up at a big brand pet hotel where he would have been walked daily in the parking lot, and had interacting play time indoors with other dogs, but I'm glad I made the choice of going with CaptainK9, so my dog gets to have playtime outside and enjoy the great outdoors with trusted supervision. I mentioned to Kevin that I've been wanting to switch my husky over to raw food, so he provided raw food to my dog during his boarding period and I am happy to know that he wolfed it all down very quickly. Needless to say, I picked him up today with bags of raw goods for my husky to enjoy at home. Couple key points I'd like to mention: 1. It's my first time EVER doing dog boarding and Kevin made sure he was present for my dog's drop off and pick up time to go through the details with me so I feel at ease. 2. From Kevin's description during my dog's stay, I know he gave great attention to my dog and it's nice to know I can leave my dog in trusted hands. 3. When I picked up some raw food from their store, Kevin knows it's my first ever trying out raw food for my dog so he quickly explained certain mixtures my dog can have to better his digestive system.

They are amazing and I wish I remembered their names. They are extremely pleasant, understanding and caring with Obi. They made his first groom experience so good that he was no longer nervous when he came back for his second. They two ladies were extremely informative and went through everything and even gave some advice with some of our questions. (The cheese chew saved us!). It also helps that the shop is extremely cute and inviting. I can say for certain Obi has found his new groomers.

The tiny place is located close to the scarborough town centre in the base of a condo and full disclosure, it honestly wasn't the easiest to find and the parking situation was a bit of an issue with only one dedicated spot. I was pleasently surprised how clean and inviting this little shop was and it had all the necessary equipment to do all sorts of pet grooming services. I escpeciallye appreciated how they had dedicated days for cats and dogs so there is no potential altercations between the cats and dogs. There were 2 girls that worked on my cat. They were both very nice and knowledgable about pets. Thy handled my cat gently and knew when to take a break from the shaving based on how my cat was handling the situation. They gave my cat a haircut and clipped her nails and hey whole package took about 1.5 hrs. Bonus is they gave some treats after the appointment was done which was a nice touch. Im very happy to have found this place, now that I know where to go and I will definately use Pawny Tail my cat grooming needs.

I was saying the fish looked like a mafia boss and he would just laugh. I had a lot of fun with my friends and him just talking and walking around to the point we lost track of time and ended up being in there for 45 minutes. He didn't mind that we came in to just browse and have a look around as i was unsure if my father's tank needed any more fish. The fish there are big! (There are little ones too). There's also fish i don't see in regular pet stores (there was this super buggy eye'd looking gold fish, the eyes literally popping out of his head like big round googly eyes). Although both of them have had grooming appointments every month since we got them, Blue just wasn't a fan. Invariably I'd receive horrible feedback from groomers, charged lots of additional "handling" fees and have even been told that Blue needed a "special" groomer. After a year of hurtful and really negative feedback I contacted No Bones About It and was encouraged by the owner ( who is amazing and lovely) to come in so they could give Blue a try. Not only did Jessi do an amazing job but she said she could absolutely work with my Blue. He looked so amazing and not choppy as usual. Not to mention he smelled just awesome too! Jessi saved us. I can't even put into words how grateful we are to have Jessi. She is just such an amazing human. The whole team is so kind and welcoming. We will always bring our babies here.
