I briefly spoke to a couple of employees about the possibility and BOTH said they thought it was haunted. This has been a couple of years ago now. Anyway, as far as the theater itself, it could use some cleaning up, but I would not like to see any actual remodeling that would change anything original (or how it now sits). Even the men's restroom seemed eerie... Definitely worth checking out if you haven't yet. As far as the movies go; there is only one screen, so no variety, but that's OK. How I just got here was by me checking what was playing. I won't be going this time, but perhaps I will again sooner than later for the old fashioned ambiance and ...chills.

Old movie theatre seats and a movie was always playing, rent browse video sections, highschool students stuff the ice cream cones, espresso, speciality drinks, punch coupon, happy hour, free popcorn for kiddos, air hockey or something. And drive up option. Very 50s, peanuts, movie feel. This was my saving grace for crazy slow down them kiddos mode. Like I said I'm not sure they still open.

This center is tricked out with the latest presentation technology. Lots of parking, a full kitchen. Being from a bigger place, I suggest they do away with the styrofoam cups and plastic utensils and go with at least compostable stuff. The place also is wheel chair accessible. Lander is very cognizant of accessibility issues being the home of the Wyoming Life Resource Center. The hotels were maxed out - this was a 300 attendee event. I ended up in an Air B&B nearby - of course everything is nearby. There are ot's of eclectic indie businesses downtown, including an old style one-screen movie house. Check out Lander for your next meeting.
