After years of pedicures, I began getting ingrown toenails, I found myself every two weeks getting the ingrown toenails dug out by my usual pedicure lady... which was painful but whoooo did I feel relieved...when I got pregnant those pampering luxuries were a thing of the past and my ingrown toenails were just spewing out of control. I phoned Dr. Gelsomino's office because I remembered the "foot doctor" that was a neighbor to my childhood dentist. Although I was never his patient I had witnessed that he was always busy and always pleasant when I did visit the dentist. (They share a suite) Anyways after about a year of suffering he without numbing medication got them suckers (ingrown toenails) out like butter, painless. He ensured me it was only a temporary fix and recommended surgery. About 5 months later I was back in his office trying to schedule surgery but I failed my EKG. It was discouraging to say the least. About 4 months after that I'm back in his office with ingrowns that we're so bad I think he was even surprised LOL he recommended surgery again and I told him I have all of my paperwork my primary doctor had approved the surgery under local because of my EKG issue. He took my paperwork and said he would help me and do the surgery under local. I am three weeks out from my surgery and while it was very painful process I know the doctor has fixed my feet permanently. His bedside manner is awesome, he has been practicing forever, and he is just an all around great doctor. Now if I could have him as my primary care physician that would be awesome! Lol Five stars aren't enough for the doctor who genuinely loves helping people. read more
