Before taking off my shoes, he ruled out gout. I had two ingrown "Big" toe nails which were causing me a great deal of pain with walking, standing, climbing stairs, etc. I had stopped playing sports due to the discomfort. He thoroughly explained what he recommended. He did a block on both toes which was not uncomfortable at all. He was gentle, personable and professional throughout my office visit. He billed my insurance, gave me written instructions for post procedure care and scheduled a follow up visit two weeks later. I have to give this doc his props. I work in healthcare so I know excellent care when I see or receive it. Run, don't walk, to Dr. Fenlon's office for any foot problems that might ail you. You won't be disappointed. Thank you.

It was equivalent to telling a person they have cancer and do not. Luckily the resident with him corrected this to me and I was able to tell my mother that she did not have a brain bleed. I suspect arrogance contributes to his inept bedside manner both at the hospital and office. Every other physician I have dealt with in his office(Parkview) has been compassionate and kind. Dr. Bayliss could use a little humility.

I saw Dr. Gelles around 2016 for plantar fascitis and he made custom inserts for me. Worked great…read moreand the pain went away. In 2023, I saw him again for a different pain in my right foot. He put me on high dose ibuprofen since this was most likely an arthritic issue. Pain went away. Recently I developed heel pain again in my right foot. I figured I probably needed new inserts. I tried calling his office and got a surgical center instead. It's the correct number so honestly I'm at a loss as to what happened to this doctor! His information is still out there on the web. If anyone has any info on this, I'd sure like to know! He was a good doctor and it seems strange that he just disappeared without notifying his patients!
