I got a referral from my primary to see Dr. Rossi at Mokena foot and ankle without knowing a single thing about him. I called the office a week ahead of time and was able to get an appointment on the following Saturday. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out paperwork and ended up seeing Dr. Rossi 30 minutes past my appointment time. He apologized for the long wait when he finally walked in to see me. That was refreshing because most doctors don't even bother to say anything. I guess they figure long waits are expected and acceptable. Dr. Rossi was upbeat and affable. I found him attractive with a warm and inviting smile. I liked him immediately. He took his time during the exam to explain everything throughly which was awesome. He explained why I'd come to have trouble with my foot and the treatment options available. He took the time to ask how I felt about the options he'd presented and offered his medical opinion based on my responses. By the end of the visit we'd discussed a course of action and what I could expect during a follow-up visit. He offered advice on new shoe options and exercise tips. The office has a warm feel to it. It's modern and nicely decorated. It was easy to find and offers ample parking. I was able to make a Saturday appointment which is rare for a specialist but unfortunately the receptionist stated that there would be no more weekend hours available in the near future.

I never imagined foot surgery would be a pleasant experience. From the day of the initial consultation to the surgeries and post-op visits, I was treated both courteously and professionally by everyone (including the doctor's assistants and the ladies who work at the front desk). Before the surgeries, Dr. Narcissi explained what I could expect during and after the procedures. Dr. Narcissi took the time to thoroughly answer each of my 16 questions (SERIOUSLY, all 16). I knew then that I was in good hands. The care I received from Dr. Narcissi and his team was excellent. I wish there was some way to post before and after pictures of my feet. They are beautiful!! Dr Buck placed an artificial joint in my big toe. After explicitly following his post-op…read moreinstructions, the joint quickly became displaced. Starting "I've never seen that before", he took me back to the operating room to repair the failed joint. After the second surgery, he gave me a small portion of the implant and said, "I'm not sure what happened or how to fix it but I removed a portion of it". I then went to another podiatrist who successfully removed the implant and replaced it with a new one. I understad any surgeon can have postoperative complications, but not being able to fix an isssue they create is clearly problematic. Also, beware of "Reputation Defender" software, they can make anyone look good.

They ask you to come in for follow-ups that are not needed and charge when it was not needed, not requested. You'll also sit there for an hour before you see anyone. The office is way too small to sit for a service or appointment that's made at least a week in advance.
