This was my second podiatrist in the long journey of my stress fracture treatment. I was given an…read moreappointment with Dr. Nagesh. I saw him twice. I had to wait a bit in the waiting room, both times, the second time it was quite busy, it surprised me due to the covid-19 recommendations. They took X-rays, no booties were provided. I am giving two stars because he did recommend I have my vitamin D levels checked and gave me a thorough exam the first visit. He confirmed a stress fracture in my left foot, and although I had pain in my right, he did not X-ray it. I had a cam boot from the first doctor, he didn't replace it, I found out they wear out and it was ill fitted. When I called to complain it hurt, they offered pain med script, when I asked for a new boot, they told me I needed to call my insurance first. The reason for this review is due to the treatment of the second visit. Two weeks later, he X-rayed it again, and not much had changed. He proceeded to tell me I needed to stay off my foot so it would heal, told me I should get help to take care of my kids. I pretty much felt like crap after I left his office. I don't have a large support group around me and it is pretty hard during a pandemic when you don't want to expose others or your two kids under 3. I decided to find a different Doctor to complete my healing journey and I am glad I did. Turned out, a new, proper fitted cam boot is amazing, it takes 12 weeks for stress fractures to heal on average, there was evidence of stress fracture in my right, and no-one has the right to lecture me when it turns out I was doing everything the best I could.

Do not go here. I've been waiting a solid hour past my appointment time. There is no excuse for…read morethis. Do not go here.

It's no coincidence that "Paul Martin", "Podiatrist" and "The Butcher" all have 10 letters... After…read morehe performed a "Minor" surgery to remove two small pockets of encapsulated infection, wherein he carved up my right foot and left me to use a walker for the last 3 years, I should have sued the practice... However, I was advised against it because Chicagoland podiatrists do not testify against their own... Just avoid this practice like the plague as you may regret it for the rest of your days!!!

I have been a patient here for many years; however I will NEVER go back, and I would highly…read morediscourage anyone else from going here. For those who don't know this practice was sold and the new "company" who purchased the business is, in my opinion, committing insurance fraud. I went to have ONE - I said ONE - callous removed from the bottom of my foot and these CROOKS billed my insurance company over $700! Yes, 700 dollars! Are they fricking crazy! After they received payment from my insurance company they sent me a bill for the balance - which was over $500. All it stated on the bill was what the insurance company paid and what I owed. I had to call them to find out what was the amount that they billed to my insurance company. I told them that there was no way that this fee was legitimate and asked to speak to the Dr. I did speak with the Dr. and after that they lowered the amount I have to pay by half. HOWEVER, they billed my insurance company over $700 to remove ONE callous. I have contacted my insurance company, and they will be doing an investigation - but seriously, stay away from this place. Or at the very least make sure you know what you are being charged and billed to your insurance company. Obviously, this business is no longer about good patient care, but only how much they can scam you and your insurance out of. Beware!
