Then I saw they opened another in Ipanema and shortly after another in Leblon. This type of place seems like it would do well here. This store is not quite as large and doesn't have the display of the working portion of the bakery behind the window like the flagship store but it's less cramped and has a similar decor. I got a classic mille-fueille pastry and a cappuccino (they top with chocolate and cinnamon if you like). Both were quite delicious. There were only one or two pastries of each kind left, which is good because they don't make more than they can sell for the day, but still had a decent selection. I also got a loaf of Italian bread and will try it tomorrow with my meal. I'm excited they opened this branch out in this neighborhood.

He allowed me to try a few flavors that i was interested in and i made my decision. The gelato was creamy, sweet and all the flavors were true to what flavor it was. A lot of times you ask for a flavor and it tastes nothing like it's supposed to taste. We went here twice. It is within walking of the JW Marriott.

Chocolate chip, double chocolate, double DARK chocolate, oatmeal, red velvet, and on and on and on. They also have brownies. I had a double dark chocolate cookie. The chocolate chips were warm and melty and the cookie was totally soft and delicious. Another great thing about this place is that they have excellent cafe lattes, which is a real struggle to find here in Brazil. If it weren't for the whimsical green stools and lilac colored walls, I would think I was in Brooklyn. For a gringo like me who has been just dying to have a decent cookie for months, this place is a true blessing! The shop is quite small, and has an unassuming front door, so look closely! Cookies cost R$4,80 each. My latte was R$7,30

#vegan review This…read morecame up on trip advisor as a place with vegan options - firstly there are no SPECIFIC vegan options. However, based on the owner I would give 5 stars!!!! I originally asked for anything vegano and he said no. He had some english menus available and speaks good english. I ordered an orange juice and my sister ordered her meal, which she quite enjoyed and a cappuccino - so cute! The owner came back to try to find something I could eat. I ended up getting a little plate of mashed banana with oatmeal. Simple and delicious. He was so kinda and I so appreciate his effort!! The place is itty bitty but people tend to come and go quickly as the food is delivered quickly. It is definitely this cute little stop in cafe! So although no particular vegan options, I say stop in - any place that puts in effort gets my support. Copacabana! The orange juice was so fresh and delicious!
