Worst experience ever!
I had surgery for a tumor on my back last year and had been doing well in recovery when suddenly my other leg that had been fine before became worse than my other leg. Ever since then, it feels like my leg is a rock and always on fire, making it difficult to walk or stand. I have been desperate to find some relief and Dr. Baras his office manager, Sandra Baras, spit in my face rather than helping me.
After making an appointment with Dr. Baras, waiting for 3 weeks and several hours in the office for this appointment, I was TURNED AWAY and told that Dr. Baras refused to see me.
The office manager (Sandra Baras), burst into the room where I was waiting without as much as saying "Hello" and introducing herself. After making the most ridiculous, rudest and unprofessional comments and suggestions ("maybe loss of sensation and numbness in your leg is caused by uncomfortable shoes"; "maybe you've gained a lot of weight recently" (I'm 5"7, 155 lbs. How much does Mrs. Baras suggest I weigh prior to "weight gain" - 2 pounds?). Mrs. Baras should refrain from giving any "medical diagnosis", taking into account she has no medical degree and the fact that I never asked for her analysis.
Having made numerous attempts to steer me away to another doctor without really giving me a reason, she finally informed me that the doctor wouldn't see me. According to Mrs. Baras, and I quote "what if in the future you decide to sue your surgeon, therefore, we don't want to get involved".
When I inquired why I wasn't told this before and instead wasted three weeks waiting for the appointment, she said: "well, you can walk, it's not like you are paralyzed!"
It's obvious that nobody in this office cares about patients and the condition they are in.
To refuse service for a patient because they are not in perfect health and then to be so insulting, rude, and unempathetic is repulsive and unprofessional. In this "medical" office expect to be treated as a source of income only! The policy for accepting patients in this office is based on how much money can be made off the patient and insurance rather than helping a patient in need of medical treatment or advice.

Baras.
REPLY TO SANDRA BARAS BELOW: Don't blatantly lie about me and what happened to try and save face. 100 "real" 5 star reviews mean nothing if you do irreparable harm to 1 person. You actively harmed me by refusing to serve me for no reason and then were unbelievably rude on top of it. read more
