I moved to Atlanta recently and am looking for a place to get a unwinding, relaxing, caring massage…read moreonce in a while. Purchased a one-time pass to the Massage Art Studio on Living Social and the experience was far above my expectations. Very positive experience, personal, but not invasive. Good feel in my back muscles and my emotional state. Will be back!

Lets me start off by saying i am in the spa business so i am really fussy about business in this…read morefield. With that being said i am sad to report that this girl Is a really good massage therapist but seemingly doesn't value her clients time and effort to come in and receive her services regularly. I have been seeing the main therapist here since before the pandemic about once or twice a month. I texted throughout the pandemic and called with zero response about getting help. Finally after personally requesting an appointment almost a year and a half later she finally gets back to me about why her scheduler isnt working etc and i get an appointment. Now am awaiting my 3rd returning bi weekly appointment. Im excited about my 3rd visit back after reopening & I had an appointment for over two weeks when all of a sudden out of the blue I get a cancellation text from the automated square scheduler that my appointment next week has be canceled. What? Wait.... No, this cant be right. I text immediately (which was our previous mode of correspondance) with no follow up and no response. I continue for the next 5 days to call or text thinking it may be an error since she she may busy And save her time , while i continue to stress out and Add to my plate i Receive ZERO response to my calls and several texts to find out what was going on, Especially since she stated previously that her scheduler was not set right before i thought maybe an error was made. No response. The day came when i was supposed to go in for my appointment and still NO WORD SO i skip showing up and wasting my time to get over there in 3 pm traffic only for her to not be there. I text her "im worried and is everything ok? I have an appointment today with you" Still crickets. Let me share with the readers that i am in need of my regular massages for my mental and physical health and well being. I am in the business so im over worked and specifically choose this girl dasha for my body work needs. She is a very good MT and seemingly has peaceful energy but clearly lacks gratitude for loyal clients. I thought we vibed so this all came as a big surprise to me. And i am pretty intuitive, all seemed a go. I've been a pretty regular client since before Covid so maybe things have changed for her. Maybe she didn't wanna work with me and couldn't bring herself to be honest? Honesty is important in this business because we lead as healers to be honest with ourselves, boundaries, knowing thy self, etc. She had coupons for your next massage out so shes not fully booked it seems...I have no clue. but when I have an appointment set And i create my whole day around this 3 pm appointment (she only does 9:30am and 3pm appointments btw ughhh) and nobody responds to my efforts regarding that cancelation text this is insult after injury. This stressed me out more then it should have and i wanted to let you know that this is the opposite of what should take place from a "healer" And a business of respite. Sadly disappointed former client.

Ponce City Market is a pretty cool spot in Atlanta. It's a market filled with shops and eateries…read more They even have a City Winery here. During a recent visit to Atlanta, my friend and I wanted to kill some time, so we went here to hang out. We walked around, checked out the shops, and enjoyed some gelato from Honeysuckle Gelato. There are seating areas indoors and outdoors. Since it was a nice day, we spent a good amount of time sitting outside people watching. I feel like there's a little bit of something for everyone here, whether you're local to the area or visiting from out of town. I'd definitely return during future visits to Atlanta.

Beyond just being the go-to interstitial for every Atlanta-based Bravo TV show, Ponce City Market…read moreis something to behold and experience. It's big. Impressive. Well-appointed. And full of every sort of eating/drinking/shopping experience you & your group could want. Even with its appeal to tourists, I'd have to imagine that locals* regularly patronize the building (and shops within). I came here with a huge group on an overcast Wednesday in mid-spring. Lots of people. Lots of agendas. Everyone was sated. Why? Because PCM is home to a bevy of experiences. I really enjoy repurposed old warehouses. From the sweeping ceilings to the ironwork to the beautiful old wood, they're reminders of why some things are meant to be kept and protected -- even when the old shell reveals something new inside. I detached from my group and went feral. I was here to eat but I wanted to explore. I did some window shopping and people watching. I attempted to access the roof but I needed a ticket or some such nonsense (Atlanta still has to Atlanta). But if you have the time and patience to get a ticket, you should check it out. I eventually settled on dinner and dessertS (reviews to come) and enjoyed every bite. There's a reason why PCM is a part of external-facing media when it comes to Atlanta. And I'm pleased to report that it acquits itself nicely. Even if it's out of your way and/or not in your plan to visit, make the time to do so. I think you'll be happy that you did. *I do understand the annoyance at parking issues being a deterrent to visiting. That struggle is real and universal.
