TERRIBLE. Their customer care is APPALLING. The date of the party was omitted from our invitation. I contacted them to say the invitation was beautiful but it was a shame the date of the party was omitted. I got a sarcastic one liner email back from a designer. So I asked to speak to her manager and here is his response:
"Mrs {}
There is no point in a conversation about this unfortunate situation. We pride ourselves in pointing out hundreds of mistakes and omissions in the text we are asked to print over the decades, for which we receive little or no thanks, but we cannot find them all as we are not infallible. As every printing company will tell you, the customer is responsible for the art-work once they sign it off. It is sad when customers, rather than simply admit their mistake, start trying to blame others; some even threaten blackmail.
Yours sincerely
Andrew Pearson-Gee"
I think the above says a lot, particularly when there was no blame and certainly no blackmail! Whilst I understand their Terms and Conditions and that once the proof has been signed off the ball is no longer in their court, I would have appreciated a conversation with them. I would have suggested that as supposedly high end printers it was their professional expertise and duty of care to to ensure all vital information features on the invitation - maybe ensure every designer has a checklist and that if mistakes are committed then the very least could be an apology.
Clearly all they do is copy and paste. Which is a shame given there are many online companies who do just that at a fraction of the cost.
I have never reviewed anything but I feel very strongly about this one - I do not see how companies these days with such poor customer care can survive. Do not use them, go to Mount Street Printers. read more
