This isn't my first review for this place and probably won't be my last, lol…read more I just bought another pair of awesome hiking shoes and I'm scoping out a new aqua backpack, some yeti cooler bottles and a few more supplies for our desert hikes. I actually just got back from 40 miles of hiking in Nevada and after the last hike I pitched my 8 year old shoes and torn backpack. This is a great place to find high quality outdoor items like coats, hats, hiking shoes, sleeping bags, ski wear, glasses, etc. They carry the top name brands and are super helpful. I have purchased many of my cold weather gear and camping, hiking supplies from here and have never been disappointed. The only wish would be that they would carry more of it. Lol. Enjoy!

I went into this store to buy some Birkenstocks. I made the mistake of looking at the shoes myself…read moreinstead of realizing that I needed an employee to go to that section of the store. Two of the girls working there were very rude and sassy to me and didn't kindly explain to me that customers weren't allowed where I was at. The Birkenstocks were in an open enough area so I thought I could look at them. These two girls treated me like a nuisance and I was very embarrassed. I will not be returning back to this store.

I'm gonna just come out and say it. Partners has the most consistently epic sales…read more While Black Friday people were still nursing their wounds, I rolled out of bed at my leisure on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, moseyed over to Partners, and had plenty of cute stuff to pick from. I didn't even have to beat a bitch to get it. Among other things, I got a Tahari coat for $50 (and, no, you bitches cannot borrow it). This isn't a doorbuster kind of thing, but obviously, it's better if you make it to the first day of their big sales, preferably in the morning. Partners caters to men and women of all ages and they carry some awesome brands, including several not available anywhere else in Lafayette. Examples of brands off the top of my head: Milly Tahari Michael Stars Tibi Nat Nast Lacoste They also offer free alterations on purchases (does not include sale items), which is awesome. This is a family owned and operated business that has been around since (I think) the late 1970s. Support your local businesses, ya'll.

Gentrie Supply in downtown Lafayette is one of those stores you walk into just to look around and…read moresomehow leave with a bag. Really neat little store with clothes for both men and women, plus some unique decor and other stuff you're not going to find everywhere else. The clothes are stylish without being ridiculous, and the staff is super helpful without following you around the store trying to sell you something every 30 seconds. I ended up buying two shirts and could have easily bought more. Definitely follow them on social media because they post new arrivals, which brings me to my only complaint. They had this shirt with chickens embroidered on the shoulders that I absolutely would have bought, except the only one left was a small. A small. There was no amount of optimism, stretching, or wishful thinking that was getting me into that tiny thing. So whoever bought the one in my size, we have beef. I don't know who you are, but I hope you enjoy my shirt. Next time I'll buy it first. Very cool store, great staff, and definitely worth stopping in if you're downtown Lafayette. Just apparently don't hesitate when you see something you like because some stylish gentleman may beat you to it.
