After receiving my diagnosis, I decided to do one repair, and they fixed my car right up. And Mike informed me of things to be aware of. Great customer service! My only gripe and it's such a pet peeve of mine when going to Independent Shops, is the lack of grounds-keeping. Immediately after leaving the shop I hear the dreaded sound of a nail in my tire, and immediately became so frustrated that I was ready to forget the incredible service up until then. The lack of professionalism to leave loose nails around is a killer, and you definitely wouldn't run into that problem when at a BMW dealership. When oversight like this happens, it makes you wonder if other careless mistakes are made when working on the vehicle. I'm not saying that is the case, but you can't help but wonder.

I've been here several times for various things from an oil change to installing new motor mounts and each time I come in, the service is just as good as the first time I was here. I bought a used one and then brought it in to Honest-1 Auto for an inspection to see if there was anything major wrong with it. The first person I dealt with was Willie Vazquez, the General Manager. I spoke to him over the phone, he got me in right away. I should've brought the car in before I purchased it, luckily there wasn't anything majorly wrong with it but I didn't know that. If Willie were dishonest, he could've said there was something wrong with it and I probably would've gone ahead and paid to have it 'fixed' because I would not have known any better. I appreciate his honesty. I also met George Maajoun the Service Advisor. He's straightforward with prices and cost of labor etc. I've never gotten blindsided by a last minute extra charge or "added fees". My repairs always cost exactly what George tells me they will cost. I appreciate that. It's hard to budget for car repairs when the shop you're dealing with keeps upping the cost, that won't happen to you here. This shop is the most honest one I've ever been to! An honest auto repair shop is like a 'Rare White Elk', they exist but the chances of ever encountering one are slim. Happy to report you have a 'Rare White Elk' here in Carrollwood! I also had smelled gasoline in my car multiple times. Diogo arrived promptly and it was convenient to have him working on my car while I was at home. He was incredibly thorough with checking the car for possible fuel leaks. I also learned a lot from his inspection. I asked him to remove and re-install the brakes to make sure they had been installed correctly. He did it so quickly and discovered that Meineke had not properly lubricated a part, which is what had caused the noise. After he was done, we took a test drive in the car and the noise was gone. The brakes were so smooth after that. I hired Diogo a second time to change my spark plugs. Again he was very quick and efficiently got the job done. I appreciated his recommendations for which spark plugs to use. My car is running great, and I will be trusting Diogo with all my future car maintenance.

There was also no waiting area and no shuttle or courtesy ride available. As a result, I had to leave without getting the service and wasted my morning. If appointments for oil changes aren't truly scheduled, that should be communicated before customers arrive. Time is valuable, and I would have appreciated accurate expectations so I could have made other arrangements.

Once the issue was found, it only took a couple hours. Made sure I was informed about the health of my vehicle seeing as I just got it. Told me there was some wear on certain things, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. No "crucial issues" manifested themselves that I NEED to spend money on NOW or else my first born child will die. Basically ran a free diagnostic test the way I see it.
