We went past this place and had to go in and explore. Of course we were in the market for an e-bike. Although we didn't purchase a bike from them, they were absolutely fantastic. They made us feel like we the customer were important. They answered all our questions and from start to finish they were the same. We did see a mom and her two young children come in and look for bikes. You can see how they made sure that the child was looking at the right bike for their size. The child was so excited to get in the bike. So cute. If it were based on their knowledge, awesome personalities alone we would have purchased bikes just because we know that after the sale they would be there for the customer. So sorry guys we did not purchase the bikes from you (not exactly what we needed) I hope others are guided to your bike shop and their perfect bike will be waiting. read more

DO NOT GO THERE. They do not listen. This is a service bicycle with equipment on the front wheel. I asked them to work on the back brake only and not touch the front wheel/brake. If they did not want to honor that request they should have refused to service my bike. Instead they disconnected the front brake and did not put it back the way it was when I brought it in. Matt was inconsiderate. When I asked him to reconnect it he connected it but pulled the cable out so that it the brake would not work. I have now fixed it. read more

Soooo excited to get my bike out and BOOM flat tire :( I've heard how busy bike shops are this year so i was dreading calling around trying to find a shop that could help me get back on the trail ASAP! Gear Up Velo did just that and more! I called right at closing time, but they still answered, and told me to bring it in the next day- if it was a simple tube they could fix it while i waited - if it was more it would have to go in the que... they were awesome! I own my own bike shop in NC. While in Brecksville visiting my brother, I ran into a Di2 shifting issue that I could not resolve. My brother took me to "his" bike shop, where he assured me that the owner was "very cool and knowledgeable" Brian was that and more. Solved my issue and even explained how I could fix in the future. He was patient, listened and was honestly really a cool guy. I am so pleased with Brian and Katie and their wonderful bicycle shop. I needed a back tube put in, and a few accessories.
