One of my favorite bookstores!…read more I think I found out about them because of the L.A. Times' Festival of Books that occurs annually. They were one of the vendors, and they always had such a great selection of books. And their staff was amazing, especially working under the pressure of a book festival! I've had the privilege of being able to visit their physical location, and it was such a lovely (and expensive) visit. Their store proved on what a great selection of books they have, and a good number of them were special edition, signed bookplates, or inked signatures! Staff was great at the physical location, as well. Also, we were able to visit on a Friday for a free book! They do have special events quite often, where an author may come by and speak about their book and do signings! Their Instagram page is quite active, thankfully, so I've been able to order a few special events' books to be delivered to me ( I don't live in the SD area). For the physical location, the parking can be a bit limiting, depending on what time you go. We visited them two (three?) times in a given week and had most success for a parking space earlier in the day, and didn't try to venture for an evening visit. Highly, highly, highly recommend you visit this bookstore and support their business!

Very chill, and the guys that run it are friendly and helpful. Apparently they are so good that they have survived all this time as word of mouth. I am super jealous that South Park residents can walk by this spot whenever they want. This place is good for horror movie memorabilia, toys from 50s/60s/70s/80s. They have used vhs, dvd, blu ray, lunch boxes, comics. They also have quite a bit for the adult who 'refuses to grow up', like real pinball machines and reclaimed decor from commercial businesses and estates. They also offer roller blades and new wheels. It seems like the store is split into 2: I Used To Have That! as the vintage toys and collectibles, and Fun Zone which offers the roller blade stuff.

I searched several other game trucks before I finally decided on this one, and I am so glad we did. Our truck was scheduled for 2 hours from 2pm-4pm. They arrived about 35 minutes before our start time and started to set up. Once they were all set, they let us know that they were ready. It was about 10 minutes before our scheduled time, which was great! I did have a few restrictions that I wanted on what games the kids could play. The games coach was more than happy to enforce our request. The truck!!! WOW!!! This truck was amazing. There a ton of seating inside the truck for the kids to play and there were also several stations on the out side of the truck for kids to play. The provided the benches outside and the side of the truck that opens up created a perfect shade canopy for the outside players. There was also 2 race car simulator setups, inside the truck. They kids were impressed, the parents were impressed. I was impressed! And I will also add, these guys were the cheapest game trucks that I could find, and for what we got, the value is amazing!
