So... I'm not qualified to really comment on the sound equipment, BUT it rocked the house at my wedding and it was VERY reasonably priced. Music is very important to me, as I wanted to dance into the reception room to Britney Spear's "Baby One More Time" for my grand entrance. We only used two 15 inch speakers to amplify the music for 300 people, but boy did it make an impact. Gear Connection has always been my source for any equipment needs. They have the largest selection of equipment available. Get anything from a small PA to setups for large concerts. I rent anything I don't have from them for DJ gigs. They are always cordial, professional, personal and flexible. Since they are closed on Sundays and need something for Saturday, you do have to pay for Sunday use but you can't expect everyone to be open 7 days a week. I used Gear Connection for the first time last weekend to rent additional sound equipment for an outdoor event I was DJing. Not only were they very patient and professional on the phone, but they helped give me advice on what equipment to rent, and what type of speakers would sound the best for my event. On the day of the gig, all the gear had been set aside and was ready to go. They hooked the speakers up to verify each was in working condition, and even threw in a couple extra cords I might need, as well as the dolly to transport the speakers. They handled their services professionally and were eager to show us all their gear from sound equipment, fog machines to party lights, mics and sheet stands. They had all we needed for our party with one day's notice and when we came to pick up the equip the next day, we were still able to get more stuff. You can check out all they have online, they have some great packages. Just be sure to have proof of id and all that good stuff because they will have some paperwork ready for you when you're set to check out, but I'm sure that's standard of all rental equipment services. I rented the Small Event PA package, and Dance Floor Lighting Sys Plus package; I didn't know much about equipment, but the professional and knowledgeable staff helped me understand how to get the best performance from both systems.
