Amazing find in North Bay! Healthy, delicious, fresh. Had a delicious salmon bowl for dinner, then went back for a chaga tea in the morning.

This PB Latte was delicious. I got it with Coconut milk because I'm mildly lactose intolerant but something in it still destroyed me. The breakfast sandwich was delicious but for the price was incredibly small. It looks a fair size on ALL the pictures but it's tiny. If you are even the slightest bit hungry or want a MEAL for breakfast, this is not the place to go apparently...but if you just want a snack for the most important meal of the day, then by all means. read more

You can't beat this place. The food is the healthiest in all of Northern Ontario, the young staff are well informed and attentive, and the price is right. You can get anything from a vegan, gluten-free muffin and a cup of coffee to a bowl of piping hot and delicious ramen. A great patio in the summer gives way to a charming live music night during the colder months. On those live music nights they bring in a top notch mixologist who prepares amazing and innovative cocktails and the whole vibe swings. Every time I come to North Bay this is my first stop. I love this place! My boyfriend and I decided to give gd2go a chance while we were taking a long weekend trip to North Bay. As we entered the area, we noticed there were mostly fast food restaurants nearby. We did a little digging, and found this restaurant that looked incredibly healthy! I ordered a bowl with primarily quinoa, tofu, and chick peas. It was delicious and I felt great after eating not-so-good on vacation. I bought some dried chick peas flavored with rosemary for the long drive back to the states, and they were so dope! I loved the atmosphere of gd2go and the ambiance of the eatery. All in all, I will definitely be back to visit again. If I was a local, I would most certainly frequent gd2go! read more

This is a great spot for fresh ethically sourced food. After eating here you will feel energized, healthy and awake because the quality of the food is first rate. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options and have a strong cult following locally. Prices are expensive for our market, but you get what you pay for. read more

Had breakfast at there new location. Very nice inside and nice patio outside. Had coffee and breakfast burrito. The coffee I thought was a little expensive but I guess it is because it's organic. But the breakfast burrito was quite good. I was quite surprised that they didn't have any sort of toast or bagel to go with my coffee , but I guess it's more for vegans. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee shop. I figured they'd probably only have a few options for people with dietary restrictions because it is a coffee shop and in my experience, most coffee shops only have a few pastry food options that are gluten and dairy filled. To my surprise, they had plenty of options! I walked in to see not only gluten-free, but gf vegan muffins! It was so refreshing! I decided to get a vegan smoothie to go with it. It was pretty good, but I ended up getting a flavour that had a lot of cayenne in it (without understanding that meant it was going to be spicy) and soon realized that it wasn't for me; although I could see the appeal. Anyway, the muffin was great and I will definitely be going back there next time I'm in North Bay. read more

This place. Where do I start... Their shakes, food, snacks, ambience... It is all there. I feel healthy just walking into their joint... No joke. The staff is so cool and friendly. Lots of parking. GET THOSE OAT BALLS THEY MAKE. I LIVE ON THEM. Also, that Funky Monkey shake is so tasty and healthy. I ate here close to every day. They have a drive through too if you just wanna chill in your ride. I always parked though because, I dunno, I prefer going in and saying hi. That's just me. read more

I like that they offer gluten free food and their smoothies are very good. The portions are small and some of the dishes do not taste good. Food that they make in-house should have ingredient lists. Overall, too expensive for the quality of product. read more

A welcome addition to the North Bay scene. The salad is excellent, as are the juices. One minor point is that the menu is quite confusing. They could try to simplify, but I guess people will get used to it soon enough. Everything seems fresh and healthy, and you'll feel good about eating here. I went there for a healthy alternative for lunch and it didn't disappoint. I had a chicken burrito on a whole wheat wrap and it was excellent. Menu items were varied and priced right for what you get. Staff was amazingly friendly. read more

Just tried this place. The Miso soup is amazing! Although the thick noodles threw me off. I've always had miso with thinner rice noodles but the broth, the flavour in it is by far one of the best I've tried. Also I can't wait to go through their coffee menu! I've tried the cold brew velvet and the coconut in it was great! read more

A little expensive but totally worth the money! Felt very satisfied and satiated after having dinner there with my family. Everything on the menu sounded so yummy, and so many options! I am an environmentalist and plastic free for the earth, so I made sure to ask for a real fork, instead of using the plastic ones provided. A sunny and open setting, with a variety of seating options. Excellent coffee and salads. I wish they had real dishes and mugs, but at least they offer recycling for almost everything. Music could be a bit softer (and perhaps not new country?)-I had to have the server repeat each question. But then again I am 42! Efficient and friendly staff. Just make sure you don't arrive behind a big order of take-out smoothies for an office, because it will be a 5-10 minute wait. read more

Went here with my mom for the first time today. I ordered a chicken quesidilla and she had an egg salad. My chicken quesidilla only had chicken and cheese in it... no other vegetables. Her egg salad included two rotted roots of a head of lettuce in it. The egg salad was flavourless and bland and the dressing was watery. Disgusting, disappointing and overpriced. Definitely not returning and would not recommend to anyone. read more

Dozens of people have recommended this restaurant to me over the past 2 years so I finally decided to go out to lunch with my mom this afternoon and give it a try. In all honesty, I haven't been more thoroughly disappointed with a meal at a restaurant in years. The service was confusing to say the least. It was difficult to pick a drink given the choice of fluoridated Eska water and dozens of unlabelled in-house specialty juices which were well... unlabelled. I thought I had chosen some sort of strawberry drink but turns out it was a very flavourless pink lemonade. As for the food, I had vegan chili and an oven-roasted vegetable panini. The chili was mediocre, a little bland if you ask me. I've had much better homemade vegan chili and I'm definitely no expert chef. The oven roasted vegetable panini was the biggest disappointment of all. When I read oven roasted vegetable panini I am thinking flat bread with fresh vegetables on it, thrown in the oven to roast the whole thing to perfection. But nope, that's not what they consider an over roasted vegetable panini at gd2go. Here they roast their vegetables a few hours (or days?) before so that they are stone cold when they go on the panini bread. They then throw in some cold salad with a ton of dressing to make your panini bread all soggy. They then throw your panini on a grill for a few seconds to add some grill marks on the bread which is kind of misleading since it might make you think that the panini and its contents will be hot when in fact they are most definitely soggy and cold. The one side of my panini had a massive hole in it due to how soggy it was, causing most of the contents of the panini to fall onto the table when I took it out of the bag. Maybe they were just having a bad day with some bad staff in? I don't know but I can tell you I will not be returning. Better to go next door to Indra's Curry House- way more fresh and flavourful, and much better value! read more
