I love this place! My boyfriend and I decided to give gd2go a chance while we were taking a long weekend trip to North Bay. As we entered the area, we noticed there were mostly fast food restaurants nearby. We did a little digging, and found this restaurant that looked incredibly healthy! I ordered a bowl with primarily quinoa, tofu, and chick peas. It was delicious and I felt great after eating not-so-good on vacation. I bought some dried chick peas flavored with rosemary for the long drive back to the states, and they were so dope! I loved the atmosphere of gd2go and the ambiance of the eatery. All in all, I will definitely be back to visit again. If I was a local, I would most certainly frequent gd2go!

Had breakfast at there new location. Very nice inside and nice patio outside. Had coffee and breakfast burrito. The coffee I thought was a little expensive but I guess it is because it's organic. But the breakfast burrito was quite good. I was quite surprised that they didn't have any sort of toast or bagel to go with my coffee , but I guess it's more for vegans.

Store front.

Amazing find in North Bay! Healthy, delicious, fresh. Had a delicious salmon bowl for dinner, then went back for a chaga tea in the morning.

You absolutely must eat here. By far my favourite lunch spot. Check hours before going. Arrive…read moreearly to avoid some items selling out. Everything on the menu is fresh, vegan, and delicious. Staff are completely down to earth and the warmest and most sincere people you will meet. The ambience is cheerful and nostalgic. Kid friendly. Put visiting here on the top of your list of things to do.

I'm NOT a vegan. Always, in the back of my mind, when contemplating a vegan or even vegetarian (who…read moreknew there was a difference?) meal, with some friend or other twisting my arm to imbibe same, was this thought: 'Ok, I'm open-minded, but there is just no way that it can equal a meal with meat.' And, really, over the years, I've had some pretty yummy veg/an/etarian interludes, but nothing to flat out change my mind... until North Star Diner. Tiny. Mind. Blown. Put it this way: I had the best beef and cheese nachos of my life there, and there was no beef or cheese anywhere near the property (well, there is a pizzeria next door). I brought a teamster from our work, basically kicking and screaming, for lunch. In all his years driving he'd gone once for a meal off his map. Sushi, and he didn't like it. He had the 'cheeseburger' at North Star, and I watched him like a hawk. The way the light came into his eyes at first bite, said everything. After I found this place I ate there every chance I got, sometimes more than once a day. Consult above review for flavor of the place itself. She does not exaggerate. I loooooove the place, and miss it dearly.

We got take out so it was minimal service and ambiance but the front staff were great and looking around, the ambiance looked to be very cozy. We got a meatball sandwich was some great potato wedges. A salad with a fried egg which is something neither of us had before and a pizza. I would say the salad and sandwich was better than the pizza but that being said I would give the salad a 5/5, the sandwich 4.5/5 and the pizza a 4/5 so still all very solid. Would recommend this to anyone in the area.

The lighting was a little dimmer than I would have liked, I was y able to see too much, and they had small table lamps which were cute but quite ineffective in keeping the place lit. It was actually hard for all four of us to read our menus at the same time we had to pass the table lamp to each other lol. I ordered the Mediterranean pizza, they had a good amount of toppings, quite heavy on the feta, which honestly is very nice to see. But I'm more of a veggie person so I would have really liked more veggies on my pizza, but it was good, and HUGE! The portion size is good for two people minimum! The dessert was honestly nothing that would keep me coming back, or I would probably skip it the next time. It was well made, but much to sweet for my liking, but if your a Nutella fan and love marshmallows, then this is the perfect end to your meal! Bon appetite!
