On The Stone... a nice experience!! The food was cooked on our table on a 650F preheated lava stone. We had Surf and Turf (top sirloin, scallops and shrimps). The food was good, the experience was even better. Our server was really nice, prompt and service with a smile. A good place, nice ambience, ample and convenient parking. read more

The food was delish. The server was very attentive & wonderful. The ambiance was upbeat. Very happy place. You could tell there were quite a few regulars there. They knew what they wanted right away. Lot 88 - Steak on a bun with Potato soup! They even asked how well we like our steak! This was Lvfor us on a Mon. ($20) It was pretty awesome!! - Steakhouses Near Me - North Bay, Ontario

We pulled in on a whim just traveling through and were amazed with everything. Service from waitresses, especially Jordan, to bartenders was genuinely great. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Had difficulty deciding what to order because the menu looked that good. The atmosphere was comfortable and had a great bar as well. If you're ever in the area I highly recommend. read more

Lot 88 - Yellow fin and great company. - Steakhouses Near Me - North Bay, Ontario

The oysters were delicious. If you get the stone baked items then the food keeps cooking on it while you eat it. I had the salmon and didn't realize this so it quickly overcooked. Would recommend asking for a second plate and taking it off the stone if you have the salmon and want it to stay medium done :) read more

I was in town for my cousins birthday and we want to lot 88. I can say it's the best place for a big family event, celebrations well as more! Will 100 % be coming back next time I am in town read more

Another great experience. I've been here several times with very pleasant experiences every time. First, the staff. Extremely friendly, polite and helpful with any questions about the menu and items on it. Speaking of items on the menu, check out some of the photos I have captured here. The food is great. - The Shaved Beef Mini Yorkie are absolutely delicious. Shaved beef with onions, horseradish mayo, green onions. Highly recommended. -The wings, Cajun dry rub are some of the most tasteful wings I have had in recent memories. If you like heat, hot sausage is good too, but definitely try the Cajun dry rub. I can go on about the food, Wonton Nachos, Vegetable Tempura, all excellent choices. Lott 88 is know for its grilled steak, yet, I haven't had the pleasure to try it yet. Some day soon I'm sure. Current promotion that's worth noting is the Thursday night half price bottle of wine. If this is up your alley, get a ride or call a cab, drink responsibly. to have a bottle that is affordable at a restaurant is incredible and the staff can help you select the perfect bottle. And finally the atmosphere! It's a bit darker ambience. It's perfect for drinks with buddy watch sports on the big screens, even great for date night. read more

This place is good for lunch or dinner. Lunch is good for a delicious, good quality meal for a decent price! French fries are delicious!! Dinning in the restaurant is a louder environment most times I've been however it is still elegant and enjoyable to go eat. Service was quick and prompt along with everyone being friendly read more

Stopped in North Bay for the night on our way north. Ate dinner here on the recommendation of the hotel. Our waitress sold us on the "steaks on the stone." It was as good as she said. We had the filet on the stone. So good!! We are heading north again and we will be stopping there for dinner. read more

Thursday dinner. Been waiting an hour since we were seated. No food has arrived. "We are really busy" they say. No bread for the table. Not impressed read more

I have heard anecdotally that the food, service and atmosphere is excellent. The sticking point always lands on price. Unfortunately this steakhouse is priced out of our local market. Also not sure how well they can adapt their menu to a rapidly expanding vegan food market. read more

About the best steak house in town!! I came here twice in 4 days while in town for business. I really enjoy being at the bar, chatting with the wait staff while enjoying the delicious, quality food. I'll be visiting again. The experience is unique! read more

We came here from Pennsylvania. The hostess was kind enough to work us in without reservations. Our waitress's name was Mandy. She was excellent. Our meals were fantastic, worth the drive from PA! This is a great place to eat!! read more

A unique experience. Server Ashley was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good not outstanding. The whole idea of serving steak/seafood on a 600 degree hot lava stone and having the guest cook it is pretty neat. Excellent wine selection (Tom Gore cab/sauv. Decor/atmosphere was upper casual. Many booths have their own faux fireplaces. Would recommend for a nice dinner with family, friends or a date. We were a party of 5 and our bill was $350. Hope this helps. Cheers! read more

This was an enjoyable place to have a nice dinner and desert We came here to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed When we first walked in though the welcoming could have been a little warmer... the (manager?) and young man could have been friendly .. we basically got stared at when we walked in. As we were seated (Jordi) our server was excellent. Pleasant conversation and excellent service. The ambiance was okay but could've been better if they had some music playing .. some soft jazz would've been great We got the surf and turf on the "stone" which was excellent. And our server was great checking in and providing drinks on time. For desert we had Xenga cheesecake which was excellent Overall 4/5 for sure. Would highly recommend. read more

We ventured to this restaurant due to others saying it was so great, however, unless you order steak or a burger, it is certainly not worth the money or effort in my opinion. Seafood linguini (ordered by my husband) was tomato sauce on noodles. I had stir fry and after ingesting a moldy cashew, it was less than stellar. When speaking to the waitress and manager, they both verbally indicated that their steaks were great and the rest was mediocre. When charging $25 for a meal, I dont care what your specialty is, mediocre does not cut it. read more

Fantastic place for lunch or dinner the not to mention the service is easily the best I've ever received. I absolutely without a doubt recommend this place to anyone. read more

We had a great experience until I had a drink of the wine that was served to me. I realized I had received my mother-in-laws glass of Woodbridge at $11.00/9 oz glass and she had my J. Lohr at $19/9 oz glass. When I mention to our server she made no effort to correct the error that had been made and blamed it on the bartender. Consequently I ended up drinking out of a wine glass with lipstick on it for the remainder of my meal. I had Surf and Turf with a wedge salad which was good and also unique being that it is served on a stone to cook at our table. read more
