The owner, Ryan, is unresponsive and refuses to take responsibility for anything. They fire foremen in the middle of your project and then blame them for the mess they created. The foremen themselves aren't qualified, and the whole operation is run without any accountability. If you're a woman and not familiar with city codes or construction details, be warned: Ryan will absolutely take advantage of you, ignore your calls, and leave your project unfinished. The home we purchased was discovered to have water damage upon final walkthrough. I was notably nervous, moving into a new home - unsure of this company and how long it would take. Hector, Scott and team not only addressed all of my concerns, but did everything in their power to move as quickly as possible so we could enjoy our new home. The first day was all prep, they covered up every area that the teams would have to move in and out of the house to prevent damage. I was pleasantly surprised to see they cared for my home as much as I did. The damage was extensive (though the promised it wasn't as bad as they had seen lol). We needed to not only dry the water damage, but also re-sand/ stain wood flooring, replace carpeting, sheetrock, baseboards, tile, a bathroom vanity, among other things. The full remediation and repair took a little under a month. They have become a favorite of those looking to restore Galveston Island's historic homes. I formerly had hired another general contractor to restore our 140-year-old storm survivor house in Galveston, but after weeks of them stumbling to get a foundation permit needed to get the job underway, I was fortunate enough to meet Shaun as Stable Foundation was restoring a home and adding and addition two doors down. I had him come take a look at our home and he promptly provided a very competitive bid. Shaun had access to an engineer who was able to get us stamped and approved drawings in a couple days. Once Shaun had these and using his personal contacts, he was able to expedite a permit with the city and get the job underway in less than a week.
