We ran into a number of issues: 1. The project manager was quite difficult to get in contact with. Phone calls were not returned and texts weren't really either. We wanted to have our other fence replaced at the same time and could never get a quote. Getting a quote should have been easy enough, but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 2. The project was drawn out and worked odd hours. Instead of running in a couple of days start to finish, they worked a couple of hours here and there over more than a week, and often in the evening (e.g., after 7 pm). 3. The quality of the work appears to be poor. Admittedly, I am not a fence expert, I have included a couple of photos attached so you can judge yourself. They added a 2x4 to our other fence (not the one they worked on), which is ugly, I don't understand why they would do that and they didn't give me a heads up or ask permission. The planks added to the fence are also not evenly spaced - in some places, there are large gaps, other places are crammed together. 4. The quote to replace the fence between our houses did not include the entire fence as expected. There was a 5-foot section connecting the shared fence to our house in front which was not included. We asked them to complete that little portion too, and they charged us $250 extra (found out after the job was over), which is more than 50% over the rest of the fence quote (per foot). In summary, the job took longer than expected, cost more than expected, was lower quality than expected, and the project manager is difficult to get in touch with. Your experiences may vary, but I think you should try somewhere else.
